Unknown cue on Ebay

for sure, some fool thinks we are a bunch of fish, LMAO. When any of us sees something fishy we always try and get to the bottom of it, and then we come on here and post it for EVERYONE to see. No ones sneakin anything past the AZBILLIARDS POOL PLAYERS COALITION, HOOAHHH!

Az strikes again.

Gosh, That's funny the seller of the cue was just logged on to the forum.
Wonder why he did not stop by and tell us what it is.

I just saw this post and didn’t realize it was about me. And for the guy who said I logged in but didn’t tell us what it is, I logged in during the MN Vikings game halftime to see if a guy answered a PM on a Dufferin cue. And I don’t know what it is, or I would have listed that info on ebay.

OK, just because I have owned a hell of a lot of cues, doesn’t make me an expert. I have owned a few customs, but mostly production cues. I honestly thought the cue might be a Scurggs when I bought it, but found out later from a cuemaker here it wasn’t. Maybe I overpaid for the cue being an unknown, but it was in mint condition and the guy said I could try it out and if it wasn’t straight I could return it. I also bought a used Joss from the same guy and made an offer on a 3rd cue, but he wouldn’t come down on his price. As I said, I’m no expert, and from all the guesses I see on this post neither are half the people on AtoZ. I happened to do well at the crap tables so I had a lot of money to burn at the time.

As far as anybody emailing me about this cue, only one person emailed me asking about it and thought I had listed it before on AtoZ which I hadn’t and I told him he may have seen it on a link I posted on AtoZ for cues I had for sale on ebay.

As for grey ghost he is an absolute, unequivocal liar. He has never contacted me about this cue and his stupid remark about Richard Black and Tascarella are completely false. Why he would libel me as a scumbag is beyond me. How about doing a little research first people. I have over 1400 feedbacks on ebay....ALL POSITIVE, and the same with my transactions here on AtoZ. That should give you some clue to my dealings with people.

And no Jim Lee did not wrap this cue, although he has wrapped two others for me.

That said, what business is it of anybody on this site what I sell a cue for. I see a ton of ridiculous cues for sale on this site that I wouldn’t pay half of what is being asked, but I don’t bad mouth the seller. And I see a lot of people pushing sales for their buddies. And that is fine, it’s all part of selling and buying. If you think my price is too high, don’t bid on the damn cue. For the people who guessed who made the cue, that is fine with me, at least they didn’t leave negative comments about me like Grey Ghose and Rackem.

Please do me a favor, remove the cues bumper and take a photo of the cues weigth bolt with the bumper removed.

Oh and by the way, it doesn't take an expert to tell that is a Chinese Import cue, but I will say Nice wrap!!!

Thanks Craig

Regardless of whether you like him or not, I happen to agree with GreyGhost, I think it's a Hammerhead also.
I have seen several Hammerheads that look almost identical. Similar bumpers, they usually have a linen wrap, and the logo could easily be buffed out.
If you have owned THAT many production cues, I have a hard time believing that you would pay $500 for an "unknown" maker.
-You did well at craps and you have $500 to throw away?!?!?!
C'mon, are you serious?!?!?
Some of us might have been born at night, but not LAST NIGHT.

Unless you are incredibly wealthy, I cannot believe that an average schmuck would "throw away" money. And IF you had money to throw away, why would you be buying PRODUCTION cues.

Hey, you like your story, then stick with it....I'm just not buying ANY of it.

i sell alot of cues on ebay and i remember years ago when i first bought my first cue on there, i would have fell for his line.....hook line and sinker........

if he wasnt sure who made it and was SO SURE IT IS A CUSTOM MADE CUE. he should have listed it at a no reserve auction and let people dictate what they feel is a fair gamble to pay for a UNKNOWN maker!

but he knows or has a pretty good idea what it is and it aint 500!

I really don't see how I made a negative comment about you. I merely stated I thought the cue was a Hammerhead. Having seen your ebay purchase and sell record I was surprized you could be duped by a pawn shop. I have seen you resell other cues on ebay redone with leather wraps by Jim. That was merely conjecture. If I am wrong Sorry. If you truely got stuck Sorry.:sorry::grin::grin:

of course greyghost didn't contact you, but keebie sure did and yea you NEVER mentioned Richard Black at all sheesh. You say you don't know much about cues, but you sure were sure that you knew high end cues such as RIchard Black and the like to say that the construction was in that region. You implied enough to try and get a 4sp APA greenhorn to maybe ante up $500 bucks for a 100 something dollar cue, and when I tried to tell you what you had (CUZ I OWNED THE EXACT SAME KIND OF CUE) you shut me down. But thats fine, you made yourself look like the fool not me. Last guy I tried to help on ebay that made a goof, had a lot of 12 brunswicks and had a photo of a titlist hoppe thrown in the mix, but it was just a sticker pick. He did have that cue for sale but it got mixed up in the rest. He was super happy i let him know his boo boo, and even thanked me. I tried to help you not look the fool, instead you tried to play me like one...too bad for you I don't have no strings partner...neither do most of the forum members here, so go pander that mess to someone whos gonna believe that s**t.

not born yesterday, and you can't b.s. a cajun (write that down)
Keebie

I said it once, we roll deep here...so if your gonna try S**t then you should have had your boots on pup, its not just me your trying to roust...its everyone and we aint buyin, not today, not tomorrow...maybe go get obama to bail you out of your bad bet.

on second thought

maybe we shouldn't kick him all over the board tho guys, I mean come on seriously ANYONE COULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT COULD HAVE BEEN A RICHARD BLACK, or some other world class cue maker that put a faux ivory hoppe ring on there, that looks like its cheap plastic, or a ferrule that looks bulging some what on the sides, lmao.

your either stupid, or you were hunting gold acorns squirrel

fact is we all told you exactly what you had to within a few cues, they all ranged the same price around a $100 so if you were so honest then you would just sell the thing for what its really worth, not still try to make 3-4 times the retail price. Why well cuz I doubt you paid too much for it, you just think we are stupid enough to fall for an unknown unmarked "custom" cue looking to hit the JACKPOT with a $500 purchase, thinking ohhh man that might possibly be worth over a thousand????!!!!

like I said, either stupid or a squirrel either way your not worth ever doing business with. Your not honest enough to be honest when you get caught apparantly, deny till you die brother!

Ebay Cue

On a happy note:

I've decided to buy the cue at the "buy it now" price if the girl in Poolpunk's avatar is shipped with it.

I'll even pay the extra shipping

lmao good thing they don't sell women on ebay, you would hit by it now on a fine lil princess and then some dude lookin like bucktooth jumps out of the package! Pay pal would be in a bind:eek:

Quote from EBay ad:
I have played with it a few times and it is definitely one of the top three cues I have ever played with and I have owned more than 500 different cues.

Your Ebay ad sure sounded like you were an expert.

Change of tune pretty quick. Nice turn around, unfortunately (for you) one thing Azers dislike the most is dishonest sellers, whether its here or EBay.

Its sad that in hard times like these that you would feel good about yourself lining your pockets with someone elses hard earned money.

Maybe I overpaid for the cue
Maybe you did, and now that you know its approximate true value, maybe you will do the proper thing and cancel your EBay auction and relist it so some unknowing buyer won't get dicked over.
