What would you buy with upto $900 right now?

I would use $900 to help my expenses on new flooring in my house. Looking at click engineered wood floors or bamboo. Outside of pool...I'm a Martha Stewart wanna be, but without all that insider trading and lying to the DA stuff.

With $900? I'd buy a set of four silver spoked 2001-2003 Bullitt style wheels and new tires to put on my 1996 GT :D

My '09 Bullitt came with nice wheels...maybe put the money towards a edelbrock supercharger? ;)

Seriously, I liked the donating to an animal shelter idea...preferably a "no kill" shelter. Or maybe spring an animal from death row?...a nice pet whose only crime was being born.

Yep, those are nice too. They will fit on pre 2005 cars but the offsets are wrong so they look funny. I'd like a super charger but I am sure my 210,000 mile engine would be toast after a few fun runs

This may surprise you but I'd buy some medical Mary Jane for a friend with progressive M.S. He's a dear friend and nothing else helps. Here in Wisconsin it not legal but I would take the risk for him if I could. I'm out of the loop so I can't help. Second choice would be to help someone in need perhaps even a animal shelter. I'd like to help all the people I've met who are about to lose their homes also but I'm cash poor but better off then most. FYI, my wife also has M.S. but I took a oath, "till death due we part and I'm not going anywhere." I'm a Vet, 67-70, USMC and looking at helping at the V.A. as painfull as it might be.
God Bless America.

You've got a PM.

Let's take a look at what's available.

Shots can be divided into 3 arena's. The Break Shot, a Play Shot & a Jump Shot. There are good cues for each of these shots to be made. There are several forms of media to assist you in using these cues.

Drills are always good, they give you a feel for position play (Books & Videos can easily help with this need). Using a video recorder can help you see what you are doing right and/or wrong.

A good Instructor/Coach will assist you in developing a good foundation, which will be your talent's best friend. Without a foundation, you have no consistancy & nothing to build on.

There are some very good players who never learned anything, except from ROTE. They never cracked a book or watched a video. They never practice much, but they are still good players. These are naturals, but they are 1 in a 1000, maybe 10,000.

Good players can play with any cue that has a good tip. They choose to purchase a nice cue, because they can.

I would recommend developing your Pool Game with segments. Do your practice of drills, until you are very successful. Practice your Break Shot. Practice jumping balls. Practice with focus, by yourself. When you play, you can use your skills to play better, compete better & learn to be comfortable with winning

How are your balls?

Worn looking? Sticky? Seen too much use?

You man need a new set of rock hard balls.

I like the Brunswick Centennials. I like the classic design better, and they are
made exactly like the boring-looking Aramiths.

40 in or larger flat screen tv for my bed room.

Cobble Mountain Hammock ($300) approx

Kegerator. (beer keg refrigerator and dispenser) $500 approx

Have about everything else I need and can afford all of the above plus anything else I need but am too cheap to spend the money.

As in one the Rolling Stone song's "You can't always get what you want but if you try real hard you can get what you need" or something to that effect.

Life is great

Ask ur kids, they may need something.
