I was fortunate enough and close enough to buy more than 1 set of each anniversary set,but I was not smart enough to hold on to the cues. Some people just can't turn down a profit.

What I can tell you is These are the most beautiful cues thatyou will ever see.Paul Drexler is a very talented cue maker.

I never noticed that Paul made different shafts for the cues in this set.
Do all the sets have these shafts
And are they purpleheart and ebony
Looks realy amazing.

learned something new

Each set had a maple and ph and ebony and maple shafts.

Those are some very interesting photos. I own an ebony version, number 14 of 15, and thought the 15th Anniversary cues were only made in ebony and snakewood. In fact, the only two times I have seen a matched set were on Dick Abbot's site, number 2 of 15, and from a member here, rk-pony-man, a couple of years back who had number 4 of 15, both of which were ebony and snakewood. I believe those sets came with maple shafts only. I had never seen a purpleheart version before, let alone any of them that came with shafts other than maple. Very interesting.

I agree that they are very beautiful cues and play really nicely. I love mine and would have a hard time letting it go. A matching snakewood version would be awfully sweet, though I have never seen it. Best of luck on your friend's search.

It does make me wonder exactly how many 15th Anniversary cue are actually in circulation?

15th Anniversary by pfd studios

I made only 15 cues - predominately in Snakewood - that was the "standard" version. I made a few in ebony as "Artist Proofs". But as I recall I made only 2 variation "sets" - the one pictured was originally made for John Bertone (5 Star Billiards). The second variation set (which I have for sale) was made for a local customer - it featured a medium blue resin impregnated spalted maple with patterned silver and a red resin impregnated spalted maple also with patterned silver - this set is number 7 of 15 - and is very unique in that I made matching joint protectors - a very rare item. All the shafts are Maple.

Paul Drexler just sent me these pictures to be posted. If any of the AZ'ers wants any of these sets they are available.
Enjoy ;)

WOW! I don't even know which one I like better..the red or the blue. They are both awesome!

These 2 would be a great addition to the other anniversary collections,Paul must have made these for himself and just recently decided to sell them,or are they for sale now?

And does he plan to make a 20th anniversary set?If so it is going to be difficult ,even for him,to out do these.
