i conduct buisness on a person to person basis. no two situations are alike. i try to make everyone as happy as possible but wont "sell out" to do so... some people cant be made happy
A good point Dave. By not selling out, do you mean that you will keep the cue and the person's money and never contact them?
Hi,
The customer is always right and is the King. If you don't take care of any perceived problems by the customer, they will ruin your reputation with bad karma. If they have a problem that you can't resolve, give them their money back or build them a new cue. In the long run you will be the winner.

When i build a cue, it is the best quality, that I can make, reguardless of price. I make a very good cue & am more than reasonable on the price. I will not dicker on the price & when the cue is finished & within one month, you don't like it & it has no dents or damages, I will take it back & give a full refund. After 23 yrs I have never had to return anyone's money. As far as a warranty, any defect in materials or workmanship will be repaired or replaced. After one month warpage is not warrantyed. Only once have I ever had to inforce this. I made a bacote cue that developed a crack in the grain. I made him a new cue, repaired the old one & donated it to a young player, that couldn't afford a cue. The customer is not always right, but I will do what ever is reasonable to please him...JER
I warranty my cues for defects of material and workmanship. I warranty against warpage for the first 60 days. I check every cue very carefully and if I find a problem that I didnt see before I either fix it when possible or I will let the customer know right away. I will not sell any cue that has any defects in material or in the workmanship! No matter how bad it makes me look in the customers eyes! We all know what I am referring to here! And as much as I dont like to say this the customer is not always right. But I do everything that I can to make it right with the customer! I believe honesty is the only policy!!!!!A usefull poll for everyone to see how you stand behind your product. This is a public poll.
