lenny do know if older threads are kept on the forum? i see the last page is 49 and the threads there are from november. if so then i think the main forum would never reach a million if the funny pic thread is not included in the count. funny pic thread is over 800 some thou by itself. i thought this to be interesting and got me wondering !

The funny pic thread has over 800,000 VIEWS, we are are waiting to reach 1,000,000 POST, its the post count that is almost 1,000,000 in the main forum, the view count might be in the 100,000,000s! :grin:
zila you can change the settings for the length of time the threads go back tol.
Go to User CP > Edit Options > scroll down to "Thread Display Options" > Default Thread Age Cut Off
You may specify a time period from which to display threads. Threads older than the age you specify will not be shown. Choose ''Display all threads" and you will be able to see all threads dating back to 2003.

If you go to the forum index to the left side of the screen it tells the post total, we are about 12,500 post away. :smile:
How about all those deleted posts and threads? Where they still included in the counts even though they are now gone?
I believe and deleted post or thread that is deleted will not count, just like if a thread is deleted and you were repped in that thread, the rep will disappear also.
