This morning I was contacted by one of Drakes friends...he wanted to write my story...for possibly lifetime.
What do you guys think, any helpful ideas?

I think you already know what your response should be -- "GO FOR IT" -- and don't hesitate to include the good as well as the bad -- after all it's your life story, and that's what makes it unique!

Be honest, and tell it like it really happened. Include the dirty laundry not because your proud of it, but because is it all part of the story.

Ken

You've always been one of my favorites. Go for it, I'd look forward to see it. Good luck.

Go for it Robin.. We'd all love to hear it I am quite certain!!

life story. Yesssssssss!

Who is Drake's friend? Any good? It's gotta be done. I can just see you sneakin' out into the L.A. Nights to shoot pool. If you hadn't lived your life nobody would believe it.:clapping:

Make sure you have editorial control in a signed contract. Talk with your attorney first. Saves many problems later.

I would rather see it on the big screen, but Lifetime is better than nothing. I think it would be huge. Go for it and good luck.

Best of luck with this venture (it's a no-brainer to do it). If any woman in pool has a story to tell, you do. You've done it all...twice! The fact that your offspring are MORE successful, well that's icing on the cake.

And...... you like the guy (you'll be spending a LOT of time together).....

And...... he writes well, and you enjoy his past examples.

If you haven't read it, read Andre Agassi's book as a great example of how much difference a writer can make, and perhaps a few other 'life' stories to see how they compare........ before you answer him. JMHO

I think it's great Robin. One thing for sure is that if it runs on Lifetime there will be a lot more women playing pool after they watch it...and that's a good thing. A movie on Lifetime might even give the WPBA a boost it really could use about now. Johnnyt

Robin

Go for it. I think it would be a real interesting story, and you, certainly, were one of the forerunners in pro women's Pool, not to mention, your later business interests.

I bought my very first jump cue from you in Vegas, the original Frog.

congratulations

I think the most helpful suggestions are the ones that refer to the business part, editorial control, and make sure you do benefit properly from it (financially). Also, as mentioned, you must like the author and his writing style, and don't mind working with him.

here's a pic of ashley judd, not as pretty as robin, but she'll do for the movie -

Sharing a few of my memories with you guys has been fun. Since then wow the memories. Roy has been telling me for years to write my story.
I think it is time to invest in a tape recorder :)
Thank you guys.

My first real road trip was with Keith and David Sizemore...do you remember Dave? Boy was that a memory!!!

If your story was on lifetime, i could honestly say that it would be the first time that I would watch that network.

PS.
My girlfriends daughter has a SERIOUS crush on your son!
