Mid 1980's Franklin-Era Southwest SOLD

This cue was, and is meant to be played with. Anyone who knows cues and plays will search for a cue that hits like this one does. The old yellow micarta ferrules are worth their weight in gold. :D

A true player's cue in every way and a great investment as well.

Butt: 16oz, 28 3/4" long
Shaft #1: 3.8oz, 13mm, 29 1/4" long, old micarta ferrule
Shaft #2: 3.7oz, 13mm, 29 1/4" long, old micarta ferrule

Price includes shipping and all PayPal fees.

Cue ships express mail or available for local pickup in the Sacramento-San Francisco bay area.

Jeff,
You forgot to mention that the reddish phenolic that your SW has is almost impossible to find.
One thing I noticed is that those shafts are the full size @ 13mm which is unheard of with a cue with that many years.

Thanks Tony! This cue has a real sweet hit. I am suprised it is still here. Try to find a cue like this with Micarta Ferrules too. Very rare. Whoever ends up with this cue will be Mclovin it! I keep getting asked by people if they can hit some balls with it.

Okay this cue could have been traded 11 times by now. Can I get a cash offer for this classic Southwest cue? Thanks alot. Great investment and a sweet cue.

Birdseye Southwest

Very nice cue!!

I had a similar one and sold it a few years ago.
It was really a great player.

Good luck bump

Nice cue.

I suppose this is a predate cue. Does it have a LOA from southwest or any form of identification?

Here are a couple more pics to try to help verify his cue. These are pics of my old SW not the one for sale but as you can see they are the same style. This is a great cue he has for sale, someone needs to snag it. Hopefully this should help anyone with questions as to whether it is actually a SW or not.

and a couple of pics of when I had both of them, you can tell they are identical and they are identical to the one for sale.

LOL, the one I had I bought from Don at Derby 2-3 years ago.

Don , you remember that guy trying to pull a fast one on you with the Bluegrass and some other cue? Both of them had something wrong and I noticed it and you caught him down the hall. Since I helped you out a little you gave me a deal on that cue.

Thx again,
Daniel

This cue is still for sale. The buyer did not come up with the money so Let the offers come in, Thanks for your interest.
