Hey everyone I am new on the forum and I just got done reading running the table for the second time I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on some similar books I can pick up. I really enjoyed this one

Cornbread Red
Hustler Days
Willies Game
Gradys Mathews Book
Titanic Thompson (not on pool but known hustler...good read)
Playing off the Rail
The Green Felt Jungle
How to get by without working-by Peter Rabbit
The Winning One Pocket Series from Eddie Robins (many great stories to go along with the plethora of info on the game)

One of the best books I ever read for pool was" The Inner Game of Tennis"
If you replace the word tennis with pool you will find this book invaluable . I can't remember the authors name but it's worth checking out.
That's Running the Table by L. Jon Wertheim. It's a fun read. I also second Playing off the Rail and Jay Helfert's Pool Wars. If you want to read short stories or excerpts of pool in literature, pick up Robert Byrne's Byrne's Book of Great Pool Stories. There's one about Danny Basavich which is alo a fun read.
