I'm with you a 100% BUT this time it's the players/countries fault for not confirming on time rather then the organizers fault.
I would have done things a bit differently but it is irrelevant for this discussion.
Do NOT forget that it cost nothing, Zero, Zilch to play in this event, no money comes from the players!!!

As for paying on time, well they said that the players will get paid immediately by a bank transfer. Since I'm in the money already, I'll let you know how fast i got paid.... :rolleyes:

I really hope that this event will catch up and return every year and will become the biggest event for pool annually I hope they'll find a better date, not to clash with any other big events, it is a great billiards happening with a great format and a great setup.
 
I am trying the videof from cueball vision now for over a whole day and they only have ONE working.
Is it my computer or do you all have problems with the videos.
The only one that runs on my computer is the Germany against Serbia one.
The USA Match, the Philipine match and the shootout from Austria and Germany didn´t work on my computer.

Let me know if the films are working on your computers :confused::eek:

It's not your computer, there has not been a live stream to this point & the tournament is half over. The Germany/Serbia match is the only one that has been uploaded so far.

I know that there is no live stream so far, but when i open the site i have 4 different films to click on,

so i thought that would be the uploaded ones, but the only one that works is the german one.
They wrote "ANGEBOTENE FILME" and that would mean that these films should be available and uploaded,
because like i said you can click on all four of them, but.....:confused::eek:

At the moment i am a little bit angry and confused for sure.

Unbelievable but when you click on one of the films you have to wait until the complete upload is finished ...........
then the film starts to run, but don´t hit the stop button, only use the pause button if you want to look again.

Normaly fimls start with the uploading on my computer, but that time not !! :eek:
But the films are in great quality and realy well done.

wct will be continued at 6pm cet
livestream is running already with matches of first german league (for example with ortmann, hybler, feijen and many other top players)

i'm pretty sure that germany 1 will win the final against germany 2 cause i have a plan: i have a bad cold, but will go to the wtc today anyway and mingle with the players of all other nations. got to work!:winknudge:
 
greece seems to be ahead of usa 4-1 and 2-0 if the score is correct.

hope they have it backwards myself.

Greece have to World Class players in Evangelos Vettas and Jon Vassalos.
It is a big wide world out there. Who would have believed you could get players to play at the highest level from the Lebanon, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan. There are now 14000 Billiard clubs in Beijing (and 9 million bicycles)

seems you won't need to be very active with that provided the audiance is dressed like they are watching ice hockey :eek: And those who finished playing are dressed like eskimos. I can't imagine how they play in those polo shirts if it is so cold inside the venue.

Meanwhile 4-5 and 3-3 in USA vs Greece. US team decided to stay a bit longer

USA wins first match, 6 to 5. 2nd match tied at 4 all, race to 6.
 
Team Philippines ahead 2 to 0 over Norway. It is a race to 4 for today.

Team USA won first match but Team Greece is currently up 5 to 4 (race to 6) on the 2nd match.

IMO, Team Philippines would be the team to beat. They have quite a good draw in their bracket plus they have 6 excellent players in Alcano, Orcullo, Corteza, Manalo, Kiamco and Lining.

Currently playing are Alcano and Lining. Even if Norway wins both these next matches, they still have Corteza and Orcullo to look forward to.
