What a great group! Love that new Ebony, especially. The veneer colors are right up my alley - so is the black w/ silver ring SS joint. I do loves me some cocobolo, too... and rosewood... and...

JUST A HEADS UP.... THIS ONE ISN'T COCOBOLO. IT'S ROSEWOOD, AND THE VENEER COLORS ARE 1 OF 1 TO THAT CUE. THE VENEERS WERE PROVIDED BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER.

I'VE OWNED THAT ONE A FEW TIMES, AND SHE SURE IS A BEAUTY.

Thank you very very much for all the Backgroundinformations you provide for all that Tascs Marcus ... are you sure about the Rosewood .. it was sold to me as Coco .. its also a little brighter than the other Rosewood Tascs .. seams to be a more rare Gem that i have excpected ... really appreciate your kind words and help through all that last months.

Holy crap. Fantastic collection. I just got on his wait list and its going to be a long 3.5 years. I went with smooth black leather wrap. That brown leather wrap is amazing.

Based on info from our great local CM's... Dalbergia is a wide ranging "first name" for many to most of the woods in the Rosewood family - Brazilian, Cocobolo, Indian, etc, etc.
Brazilian Rosewood I've come to be able to remember is Dalbergia Nigra, the others would be "Dalbergia followed by another name". These guys sure know their stuff!
Anyway, it's no wonder they all hit so great, since they come from the same family.
