Spanish cloth -Gorina - granito/tournament 2000
this cloth is fast and tough, keep it tight and clean
this cloth is price range of Simonis but it is tougher
the durability will make it cheaper in the long run

Simonis 760 tour blue is about as fast as you're going to get, yet still be able to control the cue ball, and still maintain durability.

Velocity speed is about the same as 860 - slower then 760.

Simonis 300 Rapide is faster than 760. It's also more expensive. Granito M by Gorina is also fast. They are both for carom tables.

If you want to keep the cloth fast, vacuum it regularly. You might also consider doing what they do to snooker tables: iron the cloth. If you can, heat the table a little to drive out moisture.

But I doubt that you would be happy with the fastest cloth available unless the table is very, very level. Fast cloth makes all the hills, valleys and slopes that much more obvious. Trying to control the ball on the equivalent of a super-fast golf green is very hard. Of course, if you mastered it, your guests would be at your mercy.

I guess a more important question would be, Why the need for speed?

Fastest cloth? Be careful what you ask for. You won't be happy with that. I learned that too fast cloth sucks. Johnnyt

Yeah, this is a fair point. I think what the original poster wants is good old simonis 760. I've heard a handful of people say it's too fast, but it's nothing like the crazy stuff they play with on carom tables.

You wanna play on something that's fast, but at least similar to the stuff you'll find in a nice pool hall. That's 760. Anything faster and you're learning on something very different and you'll have a hard time getting used to any table outside of your basement.
