well.... near mint to mint with meaty tips....

I just got this in trade (brand new) and played for 30 minutes with it last night. While I've not found a newer (non-Franklin) Southwest I liked, this is probably the top of the 3 I've owned. It still doesn't do it for me.... Most cues without ivory ferrules don't do it for me. Literally in brand new condition sans chalk on one tip. No scuffs, dents, dings - nobody has even passed gas in the general vicinity of this cue....

Anyways, here's the specs:

pin 321-08
Goncalo Alves forearm w/ figured BEM pts (lots of eyes)
(from the outside) green, white and black veneers
same veneers on joint collars and butt sleeve
butt- 15.89 oz - 29"
shaft 1 lightly played- 3.87 oz - 29"
shaft 2 new - 3.87 oz - 29"
19.76oz total weight
Goncalo Alves butt sleeve w/ BEM butt plate (nice streak running through)

$soldshipped to US48

Southwest

I like the alves forearm with birdseye points.
Very nice unique looking Southwest.

Good luck with your sale.
My '08' Southwest is a phenominal cue to play with.

Very nice cue Ross. I have never seen this combo before.

Good Luck with your sale!

Chris

Thanks for the compliments, guys....

Willing to take a trade + cash, depending upon the cue you're offering.

I'll take the Searing in the top Pic:love2::love::bow-down::killingme:
the SW looks really nice but is too heavy for me.
Ralf waiting his Searing:thud:

Very nice SW indeed. I sent you a pm regarding it. My question of the day though is, did they EVER make a butt that weighed in at 15-15.2 oz? All of the SW cues I ever see for sale are so heavy...

Good luck with the sale Ross.nice looking cue.
nice pickup Ralf on the Searing.I had to go back and look at it myself.

Was wondering if anyone would catch that one.... someone already offered on the Davis blank as well. That's my "changing cues/cases" table in the dining area... I think that blank and a few cues along with a few cases have been laying there for a month... lol

Wow!!!

You can actually keep a cue on a table for a month?

I couldn't keep a cue on a table in my house for a minute, otherwise my 6 year old would be playing star wars light saber duels with the dog and my sugartree.

How could I explain the dent in the cue was due to obi-wan. Do I call it an obi-wan used cue?

Well, I do have others... :)

That's a high profile table, my daughter can't reach up there..... yet.

Cue is sold pending trade. Thanks.

nothing is too high for my son!!!

Give it some time, or maybe my son must be part monkey. He can climb to the top of the fridge, if you let him.

So for now all my cues stay in a case behind my dresser: out of sight - out of mind.

But I just ordered him his own, so maybe he will leave mine alone until I am 6' under - I doubt it, but it works for now.

Congrats on the trade. The cue looks better the more I look at your pics.

"nobody has even passed gas in the general vicinity of this cue...."

Great looking Southwest! The line above is one of the best I've seen in a sale thread!!
