My Sixtieth Birthday

I don't know why but my birthday hasn't been recognized since I joined the forum.

I just thought I'd let you know I turned sixty today.

Today also is a day that brings sadness to me because it's the day, Nick Vhlahos way laid to rest. Nick was one of the finest players to ever pick up a cue. We should remember him.

On the brighter side. I better get a birthday greeting from ODZILLA. That lady brings a smile, to my face, every time I see her.

Just thought I'd inform everyone. You don't turn sixty every day.

I can see your age showing by leaving out the L in my handle.
But thats ok I am almost as old as you.
I'm sure your first 60 years have been great and I hope the next 60 will be just as good.

Here's your favorite cake bearing girl !
Happy Birthday Mr. McGonaglasaurus.

I'd like to thank all of you, especially Oldzilla, for your bithday wishes and recognition.

By the way Tom, don't you have a pool novel that you have written for sale? Where can someone go to purchase one?

your welcome tom ! and you should have that info in your signature.

click user cp on the top right , then click edit signature on the left side panel.

if you need help with that let me know.

From all of us back here in the middle kindom, happy birthday Tom. We thought about getting you a new pair of those 'pool shoes' but no one has any money around here, what with the economy and all.

Tom- Happy birthday. You are only 7 months older than me. I must say I look a lot younger if I do say so myself ;-) I do this when I want to scare the crap out of myself......I say, where was I 20 years ago? I thought I was old then. Those 20 years flew by...I was coaching my first batch of kids at little league and soccer (doing it for the second batch too)...ahhhh, but the question of the day: Where will I be in the year 2030? Hmmmm.....gulp.....See you at the APA playoffs....

I'm a day late, but happy birthday!
And welcome to the club, I'm 4 years and a couple of months older. It isn't so bad as long as you remember to not compare it to 20 or 30 years ago.
I was out running the other day and threw in some sprints, my sprint pace that day was the same as my recovery pace 20 years ago. lol.
Steve.

Tom,

Congrats on 60! I'll never forget what an older friend told me the day I turned 50 - he said "50 you can still laugh about, but there was nothing funny about turning 60!"

Well - he's wrong - I still laugh about him saying that, and hopefully I'll be joining you in a few years.

Chris

Happy birthday, Tom, and welcome to WOOF (World Of Old Farts). This is the time when we get to laugh at all of our friends who took up tennis instead of pool.

Happy birthday, Tom. Wishing you everything good, both personally and professionally.

Happy Birthday...

and may it please you to know that there are those out there on the forum much older (not wiser, just older).
Enjoy, it only gets better.
Tommy
