Can you play two way shots in call shot 10 ball. For example, if you call the 5 and billiard on the 10 ball here and pocket the 5 but miss the 10, do you stay at the table or is it your opponents turn because you didn't make the shot you called?

If you called both the 5 and the 10, and don't make both - I think you get an all expense paid trip back to your chair. In this case, if you made the 10 and not the 5, spot the 10.

First off, in called shot, you are only allowed to call one ball. So in this case, you may only call the 5 or the 10. If you called the 5 & made it, you get to stay at the table. If you called the 10 & made the 5, your opponent comes to the table with the option of taking the shot or giving it back to you (WPA rules).
I may be mistaken, but I believe the 10 ball must be called for the win. In that instance, the 10 ball gets spotted and you keep shooting.

That's interesting. I was in a 10 ball ring game recently for the first time and the rule was the only ball you had to call was 10 ball. People were calling the 10 ball on many shots, including the break, and if you made another ball but failed to pocket the 10 ball you stayed at the table. No penalty for failing to pocket the 10 ball if you called it.
Seems like the rules of call shot 10 ball are similar to 8 ball, you walk across the street and they have different rules.
If the only ball being called is the 10, then they're playing a variant on TX express 10 ball. WPA & SBE rules require all balls to be called.

This is not true. The rules of call shot 10-ball are well defined, and TimKrazyMon's post is correct about them. You may only call one ball (or safe). In this situation, you would call the 10 if you were very sure you could make the 10. Otherwise you'd call the 5 and play position on the 6.
