Anyone have any inside or newly released info on whethere or not this tournament is happening in Oct/Nove this year???

Thanks so much!

Russ.........

The World Cup of Pool is Sept. 7-12. That's the partners event that Efren and Bustie won last year. The purse is 250K with 60K to the winning team. It's a Matchroom event (meaning everyone gets paid!), and all the top players will be there. I believe the USA has Johnny and Rodney in the box.

2 strong players to be sure but as far as playing tempos go i would compare it to listening to 2 record players at once. Playing the same song but 1 at 78 and the other at 33. Ok....if the lint is light maybe 45 . Personally I like either Hatch/Rocket OR SVB and the scorpion JMHO.

IMO that would be an even match in 9 or 10-ball as long as Rodney can pull a piece out and shoot Hatch the first time he starts his sharking BS. Johnnyt

Jay - Manila???

Hi Jay,

Will you be attending the World Cup of Pool Championships here?

Hi Jeff and Jay.

So I assume that the World Cup will be in Manila??

If so, then maybe I will plan my trip for that event.

I haven't heard any good news about the World 10 Ball.

Thanks!!

Russ....

Im thinking about coming out for this too since I figure I'll never be closer to the islands than I am now. Im just hoping to get some information on the venue and good hotels that are close to the venue so I can start planning.
Anyone know?

Perhaps you can send AnitoKid a PM. He can answer your questions regarding the venue and hotels etc.
