Best Money Player

Hi Guys just was wondering if Dennis Orcollo is the best money player in the sport why dont you hear of him in any Tar matches and who do you think will come out on top D Orcollo or SVB?

Orcollo being the best money player in the world is debatable.

I think the reason you don't hear about him in many TAR matches is because TAR is almost exclusively in the USA and I don't think Orcollo is over hear all that much. I can only recall a handfull of foreigners who have played in TAR matches: Alex, Bustamante, Efren, Darren Appleton, and John Morra.

If Orcollo and SVB play a TAR match, I think who wins depends on the length of the race. If it's a race to 21 or 31 or something similar, I think it is a coin flip. If they do a race to 100, I think SVB wins.

Yang is the best money player in the world. He has beaten dennis twice in high profile money matches overseas. A match between Dennis and SVB, if both players and playing there best, I give a slight edge to Dennis because he will make couple less mistakes than SVB through out the set.

I would have to bet on Orcollo is he played SVB for quite a few reasons. Dennis O. might have some competition at the top butif he's not the best he's in the same room as him.

I just don't think anyone in the world can take shane in a stretched out race.. he's going to outrun anyone but maybe alex eventually.

who is that 1 guy that gambles pretty good...... oh yea how about chris bartram, or maybe dennis hatch

I really like Shane's game...but I Don't think he would ever even offer the weight Dennis he gave Bartram much less get up there & win with it...I bet on Chris on that match with Dennis & thought he was stealing..meanwhile Dennis just kept getting out from everywhere & got the cheese.

Never underestimate the Power of the Pinoys !!!!

Orcullo, Shane, Yang Buste and Alex when he was playing. They could all play for a month and you might have a different winner everyday. 10 ball.

I am going to rank them in this order,Bartrum if you are looking at this I would like to see your adjustment to this list
1.Orcullo
2.Yang ?
3.Alex
4 Busta
5.SVB
I am going by hear say with Yang,I have not watched him in action

There's a match between shane and dennis on youtube that i think was at galveston.

Shane has him down 7-0 and wins like 13-3 or something like that.

Shane's break can keep him in short races with anybody....But if he plays Dennis say a race to 40 every day of the week..Dennis wins at least 4 of the days maybe 5 from I see right now..Shane is getting better all the time..maybe one day it will be other way around.

I know he's a little past his prime, but when it comes to long sets I've never seen a player who had more heart and comeback in him than Jose Parica. I had part of his action back in the 80's when he gave Danny Jones, a legendary gambler not heard of much anymore, the wild 7 and 10 games on the wire racing to 30 for 10K IIRC. Danny got off to a good start winning the first 7 games, making him 17-0. Danny only got a few more open shots that match. Jose was putting 2's 3's & 4's together with either an open break or a good safety between. It was some of the best nineball I've ever seen. I've also seen him on many other occasions absolutely outrunning the nuts!

I've often stated on the forums that I consider Efren to be the best all round pool player of all times, and I consider Jose a real close second!

How can you put Orcollo ahead of Yang when he DRILLED him twice in races to 60 on Orcollo's turf?

I dion't know who the best is,but Gabe is the only one i will bet on,if he gets a little weight i would take him against any body
