I don't feel compelled to voice an opinion and leave. You're not the authority on who should and shouldn't be able to continuing to post here. Redundant or not. I'm exercising my privilege to engage in additional conversation with or without your approval. I'm entertained and until I'm not I'll continue.

Where I find the humor in all this is that Billy whether you like him or not or respect him or not is a guy who has legitimately done more in the pool world than 99.99% of all the people on this forum ever will.

The man has always been a complete gentleman to me and personally I like him very much. So it is funny to me when random wannabe internet all stars fvck with him about whatever just because they have forum to do so.

I know you think you have the right to be as big a d!ck as you want because this is the internet and of course you are right. I am just saying maybe you don't have to try so hard. We all know how smart, witty and special you are. We get it man. Really.
 
LOL Roy Steffensen with I think my first negitive rep on this forum...or thread IDK. As if this thread could be used to gauge the value of reputation for knowledge on a billiard forum. What an enormous misuse of purpose. As if we all were to go around negitive reping opinions. This garbage doesn't even happen in the NPR.

Hey baby, this ain't a court of law. I'm just telling what happened. You can make out of it what you want. I consider myself a reasonable man, and I'm 100% certain of what I heard and what to make of it. Viffer didn't pay for the last set. It didn't cost me a dollar one way or the other to report this. And I could care less what happens after this. They're all grown men and they will suffer the consequences of their own actions.

I fully believe that if most reasonable people heard what I heard they would come to the same conclusion. Perhaps you're not one of them.

I called it like I read it. He came across as pandering for attention when he should have handled his business in private.

Maybe his reputation precedes himself. I don't personally know him. He just seems to go on and on in an egotistical fashion. Perhaps that's the confidence that preceded himself that I wasn't aware of.

I'm not playing internet tough guy behind a computer screen. I formulated an opinion about a post and shared it. Is this not an appropriate avenue to do so. Its seems that under the surface many have agreed with me but maybe are unwilling to voice an opinion as I have. I received a few opinions stating as much. People not wanting to alienate themselves by ruffling the grain of the great Incardona.

If this guys so great then why the need for airing this out publicly.

I'm getting a bit upset because I keep saying the same thing and people keep asking me what I heard or didn't hear. There is no doubt in my mind what this conversation was about. And none of it was about how Viffer had already paid anyone anything! That's about as clear as I can make it.

I just got off the phone with a high-ranking pool industry person who has been checking out this thread. He doesn't post much, but he keeps up on what's happening. :wink:

Unlike some critics of this thread who voice their opinion with disdain, there is one school of thought that it is possible that something positive can come out of something negative. :)

In this instance, Dippy Dave has not only instigated high-stakes action in the pool world, the likes of which many of not seen in decades, but it's generated and caught the attention of a variety of people, to include the poker world. :thumbup:

Aside from this conflict of Scott being paid or not, there is, you must admit, a colorful story that's been told here. Dippy Dave, like it or not, is responsible for this pool brouhaha. Without him, this thread would have never been initiated. :tongue:

Billy, make that game with Dippy. Dippy, get it on with Billy. I think this has the potential to be something big, and I mean really big. Let the story continue.

"Well-thought-out" should be hyphenated because it's a descriptive adjective to the noun "posts."

Same with "run-on" before the noun "sentences."

Other than that, you spelled "grammar" right! :wink:

If you look at the chronology of this clusterfvck Lenny actually made the situation public (which a sh!t ton of people knew about for weeks before he did) and Billy simply came on to clarify what happened from his POV after the usual forum mess kicked up in Lenny's thread.

I do know Billy. Have done some business with him and I have nothing but positive things to say. Plus I have listened to untold hours of his work as a commentator and it is one of the reasons I am involved in pool at all in a small way. I have no doubt that there are people somewhere who hold a different opinion of him to varying degrees it is the same with almost everyone on earth.

Bottom line is the man has lived the life and walked the walk and has a good rep after a lot of years in a messy game. If you dont see where that may deserve a little respect from someone who has never met or dealt with him then we just look at things differently.
