The way it really went down

Your opinion is but one, as far as I am concerned, nothing has been firmly established without reasonable doubt.

Jim

I think "reasonable doubt" comes into play in criminal proceedings and in civil actions you simply have to tip the scales slightly more one direction or the other. That Samoan has the freakin scales pinned to the floor on one side. :grin-square:

And FWIW, I agree wholeheartedly with Joe W in that this discussion isn't really about anything other than the court of public opinion.

Best,
Brian kc

the sad part is that you are a so called high rolling poker pro and you drive a 2004 Tahoe titled in your girlfriends' name, lmao.

He doesn't want that thing. I'm sure you know how hard it is to sell something that gets 13 MPGs these days. Scott is probably the first guy that wanted to buy it:D

lol - with a name like corvette I guess I shoulda figured you for one of "those" guys. Dippy needs an SL 55 AMG (or pricier) to fit the stereotype? Sam Walton was driving a decent condition '78 Ford F-150 before he passed (and I believe he was worth more than any other single person in the US at the time). I always get a laugh out of the folks that assume wealth and flashing it go hand in hand....and I knew a 6 year old Tahoe would bring it out in this thread sooner or later. I was not disappointed! Not all pro athletes and celebs have Maybachs, Rolls, and Bentleys, just the ones who need everyone to know they are pro athletes and celebs....

Edit after seeing Dippy BRABUS CL600 - apparently he DOES need to be "seen" as well. lol Shoulda known.

please, back to the namecalling now!!! :D

Ill bet 50k if someone gets a coppy of the tape you clearly see me paying scott.

I would think its not too easy to get a copy. They don't just normally hand those things out to anyone.

Sorry jam, but what's on here first is legally binding.

Whoops! Too late. It's been e-mailed and electronically signed. It's a done deal.

Now, if you'd like to invest in the production, I can offer you some shares early on. Better hurry and buy them while they're low.

The title of this movie is going to be? Hmm, I'll have to come up with something catchy. :grin-square:

I was mainly making fun of the fact it was in his girlfriends' name, nothing wrong with an '04 Tahoe. I find it funny when someone has a lot of cash but can't finance a stick of gum. This is the case a lot of times in the pool and poker world.

good luck everyone,

im done with kangaroo court, id offer to gamble with people but im afraid of being robbed.

you know what the sad part is, you guys totally ruin your own sport, you guys condone violence in poolrooms for what ever means.

personally after what has transpired if i was a poolroom owner i would never alow scott in my room again.

and i would call the casino to get a coppy of the tape, but i have nothing to prove i know what happened. but please feel free, it was the day after we played around 230-330 pm. Ill bet 50k if someone gets a coppy of the tape you clearly see me paying scott.

You know DIPPY (the perfect name), you sound like a guy who has been trapped over and over again in his lies. You keep changing your story to fit the circumstances. By the way this has nothing to do with the sport of pool and everything to do with high stakes gambling. Among real gamblers you would be considered a low life. In another time and another place, it might not have ended so peacefully for you. You got off easy little man.

few guesses

LOL! I've had more terms in this job that I've never heard. I'm going to be up all night. Vicar, cur [ph], diaconate, ordans, Sursum Corda, et cetera. I really need to find this "cur" word because it keeps coming up. :(

Isn't "cur" West Virginian for car?

Diaconate reads like it would probably be deaconette or deaconate neither of which I am sure is even a word but I'd guess the root is deacon.

Ordans is probably ordains

Sursum Corda is probably Sursum Corda(OK I don't have a clue here, drag out a latin dictionary.)

I have a strong feeling you need a consultant from West Virginia or Kentucky! If all else fails I can put you in touch with some super good folks from West Virginia. I don't remember what they sound like since we haven't talked in years but I suspect they understand the dialect. I'm still in internet contact with them.

I'm no genius and I don't have a dime in this deal but the guy is claiming he paid and it is on video tape. If it was my money I could call the casino before they record over that tape which, if that casino is like a lot of other places, could happen when that same day of the month rolls around again.

Other than that, I'm not involved.

Do you guys honestly think that you can just go to a casino and get them to give you the tape which purportedly contains video of one guy handing something to another guy without a subpoena???

Lets be 100% real here THAT will NEVER HAPPEN.

When Tiger Products' trailer was stolen the casino WOULD NOT release the footage of the parking lot where it happened.

And as JCIN pointed out even if there was a videotape for all of us to see on Youtube there is a 100% chance that NO ONE ON EARTH can say that the amount of money exchanging hands is $500 or $5000 or $50,000.

David Peat is playing a game. He is extremely lucky that the wrong guys weren't on the other side of this game.

Scott is an idiot.

He is lucky that he didn't get arrested.

Personally, I would never cross a guy named Incardona :-). I am racially profiling on the name and prefer to guess wrong just to be on the safe side.

OK, I'll give you the "in his girlfriend's name" WAS funny!! But I was waiting for someone to jump on a guy that's LOADED driving a 6-7 year old vehicle....

Dippy then went and posted a link to a car though proving that he IS that guy. lol

Nothing wrong with liking or wanting one or having one, just seems that most that do, want it for others to see them in it rather than to enjoy a precision automobile for what it is....YES, I'm an admitted car lover (for the cars). :o

LOL! Close but no cigar!:groucho:

This job is like a nightmare that keeps getting worse and worse. :o

I guess that's a pretty safe bet considering there is no "tape"! Come on guys, this is the digital age. It's on a hard drive or not at all. This isn't a Mom & Pop convenience store in podunk! And as previously mentioned, no one could get the images unless they had a subpoena!

If you read my initial post I metioned that there are times imo that it's advisable not to post (not often) if you want a shot of winning some decent money. Sometimes it's best. On another note, i'm not looking for your sympathy, or anyone elses, just justice.:)

Regardless of what some people think, not posting does not deserve to get stiffed. not always wise but it is not an excuse to stiff someone.
