If anyone has an RV with AC, I can provide FREE PARKING for THE WORLD'S BEST WEEKEND BAR TABLE TOURNAMENT IN THE WORLD.

I need to nap every now and then and even in October, it gets hot down here in Lafayette, Louisiana. With thirty and forty THOUSAND DOLLAR calcuttas going on, there is some serious money to be won at White Diamonds.
If I remember the Mars Man had a nice little RV. There was a picture of it somewhere on AZB. I can only imagine snoozing in that sweet ride. :D

Joey:

"Free Parking"? In Louisiana (not necessarily what one would consider a "parking meter" state)? Hmm... that's very generous of you.

May I walk you over to the water cooler and buy you a glass of water? "In here at the water cooler, drinks are on me!" :p :D

Seriously though, I hope you find a place to go horizontal for a while. I know the feeling -- I'm constantly sleep-deprived due to my I.T. career, and whenever I get a chance to take 15-20 minutes out, I like to go to the car, drop the seat back, and go horizontal to watch "eyelid movies" for a while.

We don't have many steam rooms down here in Louisiana. A 15 minute nap in a car with the windows down is equivalent to an hour in a steam room. 30 minutes in the car and you practically guarantee being dehydrated. If the heat doesn't wake you in in an hour it's a trip to the hospital or the graveyard. :D

The tournament sounds great, but it is over 1200 miles from my home, at 6 miles per gallon that would be 400 gallons of diesel fuel!

So I guess I will see you there!!!

Here are some pictures of the rig you will be snoozing in:

That's a lot of fuel and a twenty hour ride one way. If you make the trip, you would like the Calcutta, for sure.

There is one more thing..... Do you have Wi-Fi? :D

I think I can make it in about 17 hours, I usually average around 70mph.

Of course we have Wifi!

Matt,
It was REAL NICE having a great pool table to practice on whenever I got the urge and having my own bed to crash whenever I wanted it, well that was the best. I just wish I would have been able to use it more.

Now as to the pillows. I know the ones you are talking about. If you could purchase some disposable covers for the pillows, you could set up the pool rooms for a rental business.

Damn ,you got a CDL?

That's one sweet large car!

No, he's got a CLMC.

If I see you rolling on the highway at 70 mph,I'll be sure and give you a little extra consideration. I looked more carefully at the photos. Geeze, you've got a washing machine, big screen TV, Wi-Fi, AC, spare car.

With diesel costs being what they are, you should bring a good player to recoup your fuel costs. If you want to return home with more money than you came, bring a really good player who's name doesn't hit the radar screen and don't let him practice at the event. Oh yeah and regardless of your efforts to bring a play in incognito, bring lots of money for the Calcutta because Chris Miller doesn't let any playa slip through the grass unnoticed.

The parking lot at White Diamonds is huge but you had better get there early because it does get crowded and turning that big baby around, well l just hope you have power steering. :D

Mars, I looked at the pic of your RV and got a total boner. Thats sweet, you want to go on a road trip? I was talking with one of the guys aboout renting a RV to use while we go and do a exhibition tour.

Off topic, but...

John, everytime I look at your avatar, I always get a case of indecision about which one of those 3 that I wanna play with first :embarrassed2:
