Palmer custom with rounded points?

A friend of mine wants to sell me a Palmer Cue and he says it is a custom. My only concern is it has rounded points. Is it possible that it's still a custom if it has the rounded points? Any idea what it might be worth? I know it's hard without pictures, I'll try to upload them when I get home.

He's FOS its not custom the real custom Palmers stopped being built a few decades ago.....and they didn't use CNC so there were no rounded points.

I think the new Palmers made over in Asia only go for a couple hundred brand new.

Don't know about your Palmer, just wanted to say back in the 60's it wasn't uncommon to run across Palmers used for $100-150. I just thought they were sort of gaudey(lots of mop) and didn't like the plastique in the butt. Now they sell for $1000-1500 and up. Sure wish I would have scarfed up a few of them. Hindsight is wonderful.

Actually they sell for $65 to $120 new, and most are not worth that!

I persume it is one of the six point with radial pin cues??
Post picture and I will tell you what model.
Those are manufactued by KaoKao in China for Palmer Billiards.

Back in the late 90's the early Palmer Imports were made in Taiwan by Palmer industries.
The top 5 cues then had rounded points. They were very Schon like. Even had 5/16x14 joint.

It has a 5/16 14 pin and 5 points. Sorry I don't actually have pictures I decided not to buy it after confirming it wasn't a custom. He wanted $500 for it which would be a hell of a price if it were a custom, but unfortunately it is not. Thanks again to all who posted and saved me from getting burned.
