Hello 14.1 Enthusiasts and Friends ~
CSI head guy, my boss Mark Griffin, who is a long time lover of 14.1 decided that for 2011 we will add a cool 14.1 contest into the BCAPL Nationals in May.
We will have more information coming up soon on our websites (www.playbca.com and www.playcsipool.com) however below are the basics. All sign-ups will be taken on site at the Riviera Hotel & Casino.
We wish to thank Charlie Eames and Steve Kurtz for their help and guidance in this new addition to the best 10 days of pool!
Two Divisions: Amateur and Professional
Particiation / Entry Fee: TBD (it will be between $20-$30)
Format:
1. Each player will have 5 turns at the table
2. All legally pocketed balls will count towards your tally
3. Each player will have ball in hand and choice of break ball location
4. Remaining 14 balls will be racked with the head ball of course missing as it will be the break ball
5. Cash and prizes will be awarded and we will have several categories in which your scores will be considered, i.e: daily high run, highest single run, female high run, seniors high run...of course we may have more as that is still under discussion.
Equipment: 9' Diamond Pro-Am Table, Simonis 360 Tour Blue, Aramith Super Pros, Red Circle Cue Ball
This fun
event will also be streamed on a large, elevated monitor at the Riveria so more peeps can enjoy the activity.
