Tried to find out who made it. Seems American made. I think it is 3/8-10 into wood threads. Has an H on it. Maybe an early Hearn? Need it gone so will ship for $125. Th extra shaft should be worth that much.

post a pic of the pin. That might help ID the cue and help it sell. IMHO.
Best of luck.

Please post some additional photo's of the cue, include the pin, the forearm, the butt, and remove the bumper with a photo of the weight bolt.

Take care

Couple pics of pin and butt

Hope this helps. I hit some balls with this and it is not bad. Good for a player on a budget.

Hey bob that's not an old HORN is it? I'm just guessing cause it's an H lol and if it is a horn it's worth way more than $125 brother.

Horn Cue

I bought it on ebay a couple years ago or so with the chance it may be worth something because of the H. It is not bad but doubtful an expensive cue. It looks like a newer cue builders work. I am going mostly by the stain job near the butt cap and on the wood. The wrap is all right. The finish is not a great job as most custom shops do but OK. Not a cheap overseas cue, but not high quality work. Plays like a newer McDermott feel.

Condition

I would put the condition at least a 7 or 8. Only one ding of any consequences and you have to look close. From 2 foot away it looks even better.

Ahhh.. the H Cue!!

I had that cue for about a year and tried to have it identified! Nothing! But I can tell you all its a GREAT hitting cue. Its like a good old HEAVY C or D series Mcdermott as far as hit and play.

Its definitely NOT a cheap import. Its aged and very, very well made for my estimate of time period. And I called every H cue maker in the BB. No one in there would claim it :(

Good luck with your sale, its a steal of a cue for 125!!

Felix

The pin looks like an imported radial pin, Somewhat like what is used on Kao Kao cues.

Not an import radial, but a fuzzy attempt at a close up of a 3/8-11.

The H Cue has sold

On to a new home. The buyer is getting a good deal. For his sake I hope it turns out to be more valuable some day. I am just happy to sell another cue. Sales have been slow.

Not a Hightower...

I asked him.. when I had the cue.

Still unknown. blah! lol.. I hope one day someone will identify it.

I knew a guy here in Florida and he had a similar cue, he told me he purchased it when he live up in Washington PA (he thinks it was made around that area)for around $500. It was at least 30-40 years age. I posted the info on Ask the Cue maker, and the main forum. No one could ever identify the cue, it had an H also. Tom
