Think I found a reason why it's better to use outside english on cut shots

Here is my answer to you:

Cut a ball at 89 degrees with maximum outside english, and measure the amount of throw.

Then cut a ball 1 degree with maximum outside english, and again measure the throw.

Will both OB's have the same amount of throw? I say the 1 degree cut will have a greater amount of throw.

All things being equal (exact same contact point on CB, amount of force, cue elevation, distance of shot) how can the outcome be different? Explain to me what force of nature changes the outcome. Do you believe you are getting more surface contact with a thicker/fuller hit? If so please explain how.
I am not at home to test my theory but I don't see how your theory could work. Please explain to me what it is that makes this work for you?
Respectfully,
Chris

I read a post where you said people are coming at you like Egyptian Protesters..... Thank you for the laugh :grin-square:

This is a billiard forum, whats happening over there is pretty serious.
I find this post and the op comment kinda distasteful .
What you think billiards is serious and life is a game.

Im sorry but people have died over there and thats nothing to
