Here is my answer to you:
Cut a ball at 89 degrees with maximum outside english, and measure the amount of throw.
Then cut a ball 1 degree with maximum outside english, and again measure the throw.
Will both OB's have the same amount of throw? I say the 1 degree cut will have a greater amount of throw.
All things being equal (exact same contact point on CB, amount of force, cue elevation, distance of shot) how can the outcome be different? Explain to me what force of nature changes the outcome. Do you believe you are getting more surface contact with a thicker/fuller hit? If so please explain how.
I am not at home to test my theory but I don't see how your theory could work. Please explain to me what it is that makes this work for you?
