I own ~14.

Mostly shoot with a 60" Bob Frey Ebony SP w/timeless timber shaft... or a Bob Frey 4-pointer w/Z2 30" shaft.

Also own two custom Dave Jones cues, a BCM 4-pointer, a Jensen 4-pointer and ~8 other miscellaneous cues.

Currently, Steamer Cue sports Lt. has assigned me two cues. One is "Old School", my favorite, and the other is a brand-new John Davis full-splice finished by Dave Ward. It is for sale, by-the-way, so contact me if interested.

at one time 43. today 1.

I have realized that only one cue can be played at a time,
and money invested on improving the indian is wiser usage
than money spent on the arrow.

How many cues?

Right now I have 3 cues

Predator Sneaky Pete
Action Break/Jump
Predator Air

Soon to be added:
Schon STL1 EB Cocobolo
Predator Break Cue

Clicked 20-50, but went back and counted - it's 18. Doh!

<-- skewing results

Mis-leading your fellow pool fanatics is not a good idea at any level:mad:.

You should go out and buy two more cues.....and we will forgive you:smile:.

Looks like 3 to 5 is going to be the winner. Any more votes?

I think 3 to 5 would be the average for most of us. I'll buy a cue if it looks like something i'd like and would make me part with my $$$. I've backed off buying cues a lot since the economy has slowed down so much. I look at a stack of 100's now and a stick of wood has to look pretty good to make me part with my money.

I have 10, but play with 4. Three were investment only. The other 3 are earmarked for my three kids (when they fully understand that these things are worth a lot of money and they can't treat them like a toy).

I currently own three cues! The cues are as follows:

Meucci (Original)
Mcdermott
Calavera (Sneaky Pete w/ Ivory Inlays) (The one I shoot with daily)

Predator 8pt Sneaky Pete w/ 314-2 shaft
Lucasi LE-T w/ 2 shafts (standard and Tiger Ultra X)
Players 3pc J/B (awesome jumper...got me out of trouble many times)
Dr. Popper jump cue

I wouldnt' trade my Players J/B for anything. It's the best jump/break I've used. Hell, it jumps better than the Predator Air I sold.

Interesting: More AZers own more than 10 cues than own 2 cues. I guess we're the ones supporting the cue making industry !!!

I currently play with 3 cues but if I count all the cues I have bought make a total of 8.

cues that I have had :

1x Cuetec
1x J&J jump/break
1x Mali (that I used to break when I gave the J&J)
1x Connoisseur (which is the canadian brand for Falcon)
1x Used Eric Brissette custom that I bought second hand

cues that I use everytime I play now :

1x Eric Brissette custom made for me
1x Predator BK2 break cue
1x Predator Air jump cue.
