Earl trying to get into a parking lot fistfight.

Yes, however if you look at page 1 of the Main Forum, his name is in about 4 or 5 thread titles. He may be working overtime to piss everybody off, but you have to give the devil his due... nobody comes close to making the game of pool more interesting and exciting than Earl Strickland. Love him or hate him, I guarantee that you'll get much more than $25 of entertainment this weekend.

I will never buy another stream with earl in it.. ever

Sounds like Mars might be doing a little to much here. Handling the streaming, hosting the match, watching a good friend play a big match, and backing that friend...

I don't think Mars is doing any of the stuff you mentioned, except for backing and watching Shane. He is not associated w/TAR as far as I know, they are the ones streaming this, and it's not his room so he is not hosting this.

Hmmmm

Oh.... I'm sure Earl is crying himself to sleep right now....... but the rest of the hard core players can't wait to see Earl against Johnny....... gonna be huge and you get to miss championship caliber pool.... too bad

One thing to sit on the rail and shark, totally another to threaten bodily harm. Smooth move, Ex Lax. Are you struttin like a rooster now?

Right On Hog....... they are acting like high school boys right now. Hey, you talked to my girlfriend and now we are going to wait in the parking lot....WTF....grow up guys...... absolutley f*cking ridiculous.....

Earl intentionally angers the audience to get them to be against him. Earl is wired in such a messed up way, he feeds on negative energy and he feels he needs it for him to be able to play at his best.

When Earl first started playing he was never like this. I think over the years Earl has figured out anything that he feels will give him an advantage (probably both consciously as well as subconsciously). Hence, sharking, creating negative energy, feeling that everyone is against him, full falcony regalia, wrist-ankle and ass weights, glasses, finger extensions, (did I forget anything?)

The cliche, "crazy like a fox" may relate as well to Earl as anybody.

I completely disagree with his antics, yet for some reason I always find myself rooting for him.

All antics and drama aside, Earl played some unbelievable pool tonight. Regardless of who wins this event, in time I feel (at least for today's match) Earls antics will be better remembered and more a topic of conversation than his outstanding play, and that is a shame...

(clap) I cant say it better then that.

Given that most players nowadays play on a bar table or 9-foot regulation table, what's the point of playing on a 10-foot table?

On a 9-foot table, when Shane is breaking well he can be very difficult to beat. By demanding that they play on a 10-foot table, Earl has neutralized Shane's breaking ability which is the strongest aspect of Shane's game.

I'd like to see a level-playing field with Earl and Shane duking it out on a 9-foot Diamond table.

They tried that and Earl lost by 30 or so.
Earl put out a challenge at a game, on a table he felt was good for him and Shane was the first one to jump at it.
Shane knew why Earl wanted to play on this table, and he showed some heart and took the challenge.

Mr. Mars is not "handling" the stream, TAR is. He's not hosting the match, he doesn't even live in Ohio. Please try not to put information out that you don't have first-hand knowledge of, it never helps anyone out.

You are probably right Chris, I think he was just heated that not only his horse was not playing well but his friend SHANE was insulted, I don't think the beer in his hand helped anything.

If the score were flipped and Shane were winning, Earl's comment would still be out of line and he should still hear about it. Its just over the line.

I sure he can handle all this but, Earls comment sounds like it was more about himself then Shane, wishing he could block out the noise as easily. It just does not seem right for Shanes backer to get into it with his opponent. Was Earl already in the lead when this happened?

Mars has noting to do with doing the stream, or hosting the match, all he is doing is backing Shane.

what was really funny was watching Earls earman trying to calm him while Earl is furiously brushing the table. I hope TAR leaves all the after match fiasco in the DVD. Great comedy/tradgedy.

I never said he shouldn't of said anything, It was the way he said it that was wrong, he said it in a threatening way, he could of just asked Earl not to talk about those things.

Like I said before I don't know how I would of handled it if I was that pissed off.

I find it funny to watch the crowd push Earl's buttons hoping he will blow his top.
Its like the kids in school trying to make the other kid cry.

That being said Earl brings alot of that on himself, but as you can see he feeds off of it.

I think they played in an empty room Earl would go nuts talking to himself.

Is there anywhere where all the past TAR Matchups are shown and the results?

Not that I know of, I wish there was though.

If and when Justin gets his website with all the matches set up there will be a was to figure all that out, JUST WATCH ALL OF THEM

TAR 20 has been fun so far.

This isn't pro calibre pool, there is pro calibre pool about 40% of the time, the rest of it is this white trash redneck running his mouth.

Take it as you will but it's the truth.

It's obvious how biased this guy is

And what is wrong with being a "white trash redneck" anyway??:D

This title is way off base, some people like to stir the pot.

Mars was mad that Earl told Shane that he wished he was deaf like him because he can hear everything and it sharks him.

Mars told him if he acted the same way tomorrow it wouldn't end well, Earl took it as a threat and called him out on it.

They then both cooled add shook hands.

I think Mars is a great guy , but he used the wrong words and tone, all he had to do was ask Earl to not say things like that, but Mars was already on tilt.

What can he really do he can't quit, if he does he loses.

I also think it was a move by Mars to get under Earl's skin for tomorrow.

Earl out played Shane in every way possible to night, for that Earl deserves all the respect in the world.

Earl is a jerk.He picked up a 1/2 a dozen games by making the last 2 or 3 balls. He is more concerned with the crowd then the table, and the comments abt. Shanes hearing brings Pool to a new low.By Sunday night he will be 15 games out.He is 100% nuts.

He won those games because Shane played bad and missed balls.

I wish I had some extra funds to bet you that Earl doesn't lose by 15 from here.
Can't you see Earl feeds off the crowd weather they love him or hate him.
Ever time he get mad he plays better.
