Well where do I start? I know, I want to thank from the bottom of my heart that have helped with the Legends and Champions Bad Blood 1. There are quite a few people who stepped up to the plate. Obviously Air Art1 Stacy and Bob were just fantastic and I would love to work with them again. Nils at Drifters pool Room did everything he possibly could on site to make things go well even when the original table we were going to use fell through he went and bought one so we could be sure. All the sponsors who helped and supported us. There were others some were sponsors and were not who just rolled up their sleeves and asked 'What you need me to do?" People like Dana, Chris Petersen, Greg (CaliRed) and so many others. THANK YOU! to all.

As some of you know I have done mostly the exhibition and clinic tours with the Legends and Champions Pool Tour. However I have done some challenge matches too Rodney Morris and Tony Crosby and Efren and Scott Frost 1 Pocket Challenge. I am always looking to try something just a little different. Like the Bad Blood event and having 3 different games played by top quality pro players. The problem with trying to be a little different and move into areas that I have not really done before is that things can go wrong.

As I have said before when things go wrong it really is heart breaking especially when you have no control over it. TvMike did a good job with the stream and he is not to blame for the Ustream issues. Should I have been by his side all the time the event was going on to make sure that all was going well??? Maybe, that way I could have seen the issues and the seriousness of them and been able to communicate with the viewers while he was trying to get it fixed. However there are a lot of what ifs and I sholulda coulda elements to this. I was obviously doing other things the whole time the matches were being played and also before and after the matches were being played and so its hard to be everywhere at once as I am sure most can understand. I actually got to see maybe 10-15 mins of the event myself and thats all.

At the end of the day this was a Legends and Champions event and as they say the buck stops here. So if anyone has issue with anything I am the one to look at for answers and nobody else. I will do what I can to get you answers to any problem you may have.

Anyway the reason for this thread was to just really thank all the people involved for their hard work and also to thank the fans who have come forth and supported us and been so understanding. Also to thank the good people of Lincoln, Ne who made us all feel very welcome the whole time we were there and came to the event. Also I have to thank Nick and Shawn for doing the commentary and being where they said they would be when they said they would be there. I can't forget to thank Johnny and Earl for playing a great match. I told people including the players "If I had fixed this match and told the players make it close and exciting we could not have done it any better." Close match in the 8-ball, hill hill in the 10 ball and the 14.1 decided by 3 points with back to back runs over 100.

Thanks again to everyone and if anyone thinks that old T-Wheels is going to fade away because of this you are nuts. Keep your eye out for Bad Blood matches in the near future or the Legends and Champions Pool tour coming to a town near you with clinics and exhibitions.

Please feel free to comment and if you would like to yell at me or otherwise in person my number is 480-612-7732 and email cantrillmark@yahoo.com.

Hi Mark;

I think that these productions are, relatively speaking, still in their infancy and so, as we have seen a number of times, bad things can happen. Servers mess up, hotels have poor internet connections, UStream fiascos, just to name a few. I suppose it's all part of the learning curve.

That said, it is obviously of paramount importance to try to learn from these so everything that can be done to avoid repeats in the future, are done.

I admire, in a major way, your tenacity in continuing to bring these great matches to us.

You have my full support and appreciation.

Keep on a rollin' T-Wheels!

Best,
Brian kc

My only issue is why Nebraska? Johnny lives in Atlanta, Earl lives in N.C. Why not have somewhere a little closer to home. Maybe neutral like Columbia, S.C. Where I live. Besides that we never get anything of that caliber to watch live.

Why Lincoln, Ne? Well its pretty simple really Air Art1 The main sponsor is in Lincoln, Ne and they wanted it there. As the top sponsor they get what they want. I would have thought that you guys get your fair share of pros coming through there and playing. I am obviously wrong. The next time we are going to be close to your area I will make a point of looking into it. Thanks,

We have 3 really good locations for anyone to have a challenge match with everything you need. Good tables, plenty of parking, plenty of room. It's about time something came to Columbia. If I had the money I would definetly put some together.

Unfortunatly thats the same old story for pool right now. "If I only had the $$, I would do it" I hear that a lot. We need some millionaires that have your enthusiasm and we would get quite a few events done.

Mark, congratulations. Really. Congratulations are in order for putting on a great event. Two of the best players in the world, playing world class pool, in three different disciplines, all the matches close or VERY close... awesome.

You had a great host location, and a good grouping of sponsors (including getting Budweiser onboard!) a top notch announcer in Nick Varner, and a knowledgable fan base on site.

The only blemish on the whole thing is something completely out of your control, the internet issue. That doesn't take away from what a great event it was, and for that you deserve a hearty congratulations. And a thank you.

Thank you. Very much.

I wish with all my heart I had the money. I wouldn't think twice about giving back to the pool world. Especially in my community. How much would it cost? Why can't we do a fund raiser? How much do sponsers invest? I would be glad to put in my own time to try to talk to some. I'm positive we have the support here. I gaurantee a full room where ever the event would take place.

And by the way you did a great job with the event. It can only get better from here.

It looked like Lincoln/Drifters really came out to support the event.

If i ever get to Nebraska-that's where im heading.

We were on the local news there and in the local newspapers. So yes the people of Lincoln did show us a lot of support. Thanks

Mark you are one of the people who would rather act on our dreams then to cry about our sport. You worked your a$$ off to make this happen and I for one think that this was an outstanding effort by the guys on your team and the folks who stepped up to the plate and said "what can I do?"

25 years from now no one will remember that when this happened there were issues with the stream, they will remember that it was one of the landmark events that helped pool turn the corner to become what we all hope for.

Thank you and all the others who helped pull this off including the people of the great state of NEBRASKA!!!

I believe you are right on the money, this was an epic event which will go down in history, which is why I had to see it in person and be a sponsor,
As a business man I could not let this get away. As a fan I am glad I went.. I am waiting on the next one..
Thanks to Mark for his work and to Bob Finke for his hospitality.

Great event, Mark. My only suggestion would be to sell some shirts or even posters of the events. Those Bad Blood shirts looked great. I'm sure people here would scoop them up. I know I'd buy one .

The event was great except for the internet problems.I can afford the $25.00 but you might want to lower your price point to $10.00. I believe you would get a whole lot more people willing to drop 10 bucks on a PPV stream.
Thanks for the production and look forward to more.

Thankful

I am thankful it was in Nebraska, it is rare we get to see in person some of the greats of pool. This game is not what it use to be in this area and most of the great tournaments are out east. Being born and raised in the Indiana area and playing in Varner's place before it was shut down I didnt know how good I had it. Thanks again.

That was the best 25 bucks I have ever spent. Saturdays stream was flawed and very frustrating......but at the end of the day you provided an absolutely epic matchup that will be talked about for years.

You hit it on the head with your statement about " you couldn't script this any better". I have no interest in 14.1. I really didn't think it would hold my interest on Sunday, and it turned into some of the best pool I have ever seen. Billy Incardona stated on this forum that it was one of the best matchups he has ever seen...I think that speaks volumes.

Memo to everyone wanting their money back: Suck it up. If you can say that this event wasn't worth 25 bucks your obviously not much of a pool fan. Yes, it was flawed on Saturday but if pool fans are pleading for quality action streams- cut the people who are attempting to bring that to you some freaking slack. If your going to stone them for trying- streaming will either get real expensive or few and far between.

Thanks to Mark and TV Mike for providing Bad Blood. I'll be first in line for the DVD.

LOL, I know. I wasn't sure how many of them to get and we ended up having 35 made and they were sold out about 1 hour into the 8-Ball match. next time I will get more, the way my luck is going I will get 100 and sell 1 or 2. :)

TWheels, I knew you were a solid guy and you are proving it to the pool world. You are not on your own I know others are just as solid as you but right now you are the one under the microscope. Well done for being the man and taking care of things and facing the music your fault or not.

You can suck something up if you want but I got to see a total of 3 games on Sat. and Sunday the feed freezing and skipping to the point I couldn't stand to watch it. $25 may not be much to you but it is to me. I'm a fan of pool and looked forward to this match as soon as I heard about it. So yes I did file for a refuned thu Paypal. Mark thanks for putting together a great match. I wish it would have turned out better. I would have loved to seem this match all the way thu.
