Which cuemaker's cue would you most like to own?

This question is not about best hit or playability, although it could be.

This is more about pride of ownership. Which cuemaker do you hold in the highest regard, and you can base it on hit/playability, style/craftsmanship,
investment and resale value, or any other factors that you feel are the most important to you.

This could be your player or a cue that is only brought out on occasion.

You can only choose ONE cuemaker to make this cue. They need to be alive and still making cues today.

Name your cuemaker and the reason why you chose him.

Oh... and the cost is not a factor.

Southwest-- played with 2 of them and they played great.
(never will own one^^ like my all-time-favourite Huebler "US-Open")

Didn't know these guys still made cues....;)

My cue maker of choice would be Eric Crisp. I actually have a cue being made right now of my choices. His cues fit my stroke and style of play better than any other cue I have played with to date. He is also a great friend who is always willing to help with any questions I may have. I truly believe the value of his cues will continue to move in a positive way.

Good thread...

Choice of Cuemaker

Richard Black

I have owned several Black cues and have regretted getting rid of them.

His website does not do the cues justice. They are truly a thing of beauty to look at and hit consistantly on all shots. If I shot as much pool today as I did 25 years ago, I would have Richard make me a cue.

Blackcreek, Travis Niklich! Always top notch quality, built his own equipment & all around good guy!

I'm happy to own just one of the following, had to trade my left nut for it, but would offer a kidney for any of the others...
:p
BlackBoar
Gus Szamboti
George Balabushka
Dennis Searing
Joel Hercek
Randy Mobley
Tad Kohara
Ernie Gutierrez
Bill Schick
Ron Haley
Ed Pruett
David Paul Kersenbrock

edit to add DPK...how can anybody leave him out??

Oh, I'll bet they are. Probably working in the same shop.
But I'll agree that a new one will fortunately cost you a bundle, but if you do get your hands on one, it'll be life changing.
