Be careful of counterfeits

It seems like tas has deleted just about all of his raffles' photos, which leads me to believe those that he hasn't deleted are probably the only items that are real. I was born and raised in Malaysia (southern part of Malaysia) and used to live, literally, within walking distance to Singapore. I know first hard how easy it is to get and resell counterfeited products in that part of the world.

tas, shame of you! These are people hard earned money that you're cheating off with. When you get caught in Singapore, I hope you'll enjoy the strokes of rotan.
 
Just heard back from Predator. The case in this raffle is a fake.

With two different fake cases and a questionable Richard Black cue, I think it is fair to say that tas is not someone that we want around here.

Thanks for the kudos on checking this out, but it was John Barton that pointed me in the right direction as far as the fakes.

im pretty curious also... I hope he can confirm it or if its a fake one he needs to refund all the participants $$$. Oh man i hope 1 guy wont spoil this Forum's FUN.
 
Looking back at PP transactions, I made payments for all his raffles to two different people. Judging the similarity of the names, I suggest they might be brothers. One of them studied in New York before and went on working for the Singapore Navy.

I'm not sure how to submit a dispute to PP without disposing the idea of raffles on this forum...

Good point though as sad and true as this situation is.
I haven't participated in any raffles for a while, but I still have a problem with someone cluttering up AZ Billiards with fake products.
I wouldn't expect this here, and it has to be a big deal for the administrator to get involved in a sales situation.

If I had participated in these raffles I would have a lot more to say, including a request for a full refund to all of the participants involved in every raffle that involved these fake products.
Or at least another free 9-ball towel...:grin:
Maybe a set of jp's or a pocket chalker.

I am also a winner of one of the cases but I am dumping the Richard Black raffle as well. Tdub I am pinging you for paypal claim advice. With him obviously knowing hes on the verge of being banned I see this going south for everybody.
 
Has a link to this been put in the main forum? Tas really is making a mess out of this. With all this going on even a cue in question he still raffles it off after many asked for their money back... Very shady!
 
I will refund all the profits from flower case raffles.

I will show proof of the cost of the cases and shipping costs.. What ever is left i will send to tommie1351 whom I think all will trust..

For the Richard black , the raffle is full n fully paid so I went ahead with raffle

So are you refunding everyone's $$$ or just the $$$ you made minus what you actually spent on the cases?

Like I said, you will never please all, but this should satisfy the majority. I am impressed.
