Runout media unresponsive

I ordered two "Would Would Efren Do" t-shirts at the beginning of June. I was e-mailed by one of the employees of Runout saying they were out of the shirts and that a new shipment should arrive in late-June.

Well, late June has come and gone. I e-mailed them twice and called them twice in the last few days. (got voice mail and then it said line wasn't working the second time). I haven't received any response. What's going on with them? Anybody else have any problems with them lately?

Nathan TxT'ed me about 2 weeks ago.

I know TAR set up a studio with a table in Vegas and I think they might be busy with them. one thing is for sure I'll vouch for them and stand good for nathan-you have nothing to worry about. I think they are busy making things better so when pool season starts up again, great video content like we have never had previously will be here this year.

there is zero chance you got screwed, I'm sure they are working full blast on that project. and others.

Runout media is only two guys. Nathan and Dave, just like TAR, have other obligations much of the time. They are good guys and you aren't going to get screwed. I'm sure with your post someone will notify them and they will get back with you.

That is an issue with pool in general. The community is very small and most places are "mom and pop" shops who do the best they can.

Runout had nothing to do with our studio.

I don't want to disparage their reputation and I would understand if there are more delays on the shipments, I would just appreciate a quick response so I at least know the status.

Yes, Nathan was the guy that communicated with me initially in early June and I appreciated that. I just want some info

Sounds like a supply/production problem. I hope you didn't order shirts in bulk, trying to take advantage of the WWED craze.

Charles,

I'm alive. Just been busy and am stuck responding from my cell phone. Sorry for the delays.

The Canadian postal service has been on strike for 3 weeks, which has wreaked havoc on our shipments, including acquiring inventory, supplying for distribution, and sending out website orders.

New Efren inventory is...well....completely MIA. Although the postal strike is now over (as of this week), the stupid government has decreed that all flyers will be delivered before any real mail....even though most of the flyers expired 2-3 weeks ago. Figure that one out.

As such, I'm hoping and praying our new inventory shows up in the mail during the next few days. Otherwise I'll have no choice but to go through the lengthy process of reordering, or offering refunds to the handful of people who are still waiting on their shirts.

Welcome to my nightmare. :)

Anyway, I'll email you direct once I get to my computer later today. Thanks for being patient.

As for the comments about the TAR studio, we no longer have any affiliation with TAR, nor will we in the future.

I got a XXL one in gray that I've never put on. If anyone wants it, I'll ship it out free. (just gotta give me a day or so to find it at the bottom of my closet)

That's a pretty awesome offer Cleary.

The old gray shirts were our first version, which were 100% cotton. Although supposedly preshrunk, they still shrunk in the dryer.

We're on version three now. These newer ones are a cotton polyester blend that don't shrink, are seemingly indestructible, and have a nice runout logo on the left sleeve.

Hopefully the Canadian postal service gets them here before 2012.

I'm with you. I know it's none of my business, but if someone cares to share the story I'd love to hear it.

Some things I had ordered (nothing to do with pool) still haven't come through even though they certainly would have been in the queue before the strike began. So they must have a lot of backlog. I feel your pain.

(For those that don't know the strike ended June 27/28 I believe)

No story. Different outlook on how things are done. Life goes on.

Sorta figured, I've never really thought of either of you as the drama queen types:thumbup:. I will be living in Phoenix for a couple of months soon, a weekend in Vegas may be doable!

I got some lathe parts a couple of days ago. I also thought that they might get lost in Postal limbo but they made it. Probably just a back log.

Maybe a good idea for you would be for you to send a certain quantity of items to someone in the US for US orders and then you don't have to deal with customs and you get paid immediately through paypal and the items go out from the US (no customs or issues)

Damn 3 versions... Must be good sales. I should have asked for a % when I designed it for you. Oh darn. The price you pay for not working out details before hand! Just kidding, I don't care. If I relied on pool money to eat I would be skinny!!!

Thanks for the feedback. Me and a friend saw those shirts in Vegas in May and really liked them and we're looking forward to receiving them.

I didn't want to air dirty laundry in public, but I just wanted to check on the status. I tried by e-mail and phone at first, but didn't get a response.

Hope all is well with your business endeavors!
