Hey AZer's,
Here is a picture of a NEW unchalked David Kersenbrock...
Just don't see them Fancy like this..
Silver Statue of Liberty inlays, Ivory Points with engraving, also other silver engravings.
Beautiful Purpleheart..
David made this cue with a metal joint, which is very rare..
Also used Micarta ferrules..
Having the cue wrapless just tops it all off..
Enjoy the pictures..
I will be making this cue available for sale... please serious inquiries on this big cue.
Best,
Ken Kerner

really were are you finding all these great cues.....that is a true MONSTER.....THE POOL CUE GODS HAVE BEEN SMILING ON YOU.

sharpie?

i just wanted to make sure. are those designs on the ivory sharpied in? because they don't quite look right to me.

could you please clarify?

Kersenbrock

I think it just looks a little blurry from the pics. I can not imagine Kersenbrock using a "sharpie" on a cue especially a cue of this magnitude.

You have to realize David isn't using help of CNC in his engraving and inlays..
David is a true hands on craftsman.. He uses a hand panagraph. He actually does alot of things on his panagraph freehand.. He is very old school.
To answer the question... NO not a sharpie:smile:
This is a long pain staking process.. Since David does all the inlays by hand, you can see the subtle differences in each one..

Ken Kerner

Thanks for the nice words..
People don't understand the time David has to put into a cue..
Aquiring one can take a very long time..
Everything is definitely one of a kind..
Best,
Ken

Holy Mother of all Monsters.

He truly is a master cuemaker. This has to be in the top 1% of all cues ever made.

Thanks for sharing,
Chris

Scrimshaw?

I would think that it is a type of scrimshaw. Look at some of Bill Schick's cues. The process for this cue's designs on the Ivory could be done in much the same way... Old School is cool! try looking up "Gargoyle" for Mr. Schick's work for comparison. The line thickness is much thinner. I guess the cue here could be scrimshawed...
Your thoughts???
I would assume a much higher resale value for designs by hand more than cnc; either way it is through the roof! Nice Monster.
I would like to know how many man hours are invested in this cue from start to finish. Amazing cue.

All I can say is ,a true hand made masters cue. Nice cue Ken. You always get the one of a kind show stopers.
What ever happened to the Macaw cue that the owner of omega cues in chicago hand. John Wright had it and sold it. Rich.

I have to agree they look wavy!

Don't know him, but I really have to believe that rheester was joking, given who the cuemaker is.

Lot of excellent little details in this cue design. Wish I could see it up close, like in my hands!

What a cue this is, truly awesome. I don't post a lot these days but I had to comment on this monster of a cue. You don't have to be a fan of DPK to see this cue is HUGE. I loved his out of the box style of design.

One of my favourite cues of all time now.

Si
