THIS WILL BE MY NEXT CUE UP FOR SALE!! I'M THINKING BISON BUT THE WHITE / WITH LIGHT GREEN SPEC I THINK WILL LOOK NICE ALSO ANY INPUT WOULD BE NICE THANKS, TIME TO GET BACK TO PLAYING MY NEW VIOLIN AND FINISHIMG UP A FEW MORE CUES THIS WEEK.

nice cue i loved this cue when started it.....i say white with black pressed irish linen.....or black ee
 
totally diffrent i wonder what like a tan ostrich or more orange type of leather would look like.....might be crazy but just wondering....could be crazy but i would like to see what it looks like.....

Given the two choices I'd go with the Bison.

Personally I'd put on a Glossy Black Lizard or Alligator wrap on it.
 
White with green spec linen for sure. Classic look for a classy looking cue. I personally love the way linen plays and looks.

Black bison looks nice if forced to the 2 options you mentioned. I like the darker cues though.

If there was a black with Green speck, that would be cool. I don't recall seeing that color option available though. Black with White speck would look good too.

Perhaps the buyer could choose and make it more personal.

My choice for this cue is white with green speck linen. You should break out that cortland from your stash for this beauty. Amazing point work Leon.

I think the linen will look the best, but the bison will look good as well and would be lots easier to live with.

Imho, this is a beautiful high end cue that deserves a high end wrap, such as ring tail or stingray.

Those veneers are tight! Excellent craftsmanship.:thumbup:
 
Green speck would look good since you have green in the cue. Black Bison would work too...pretty generic color.

How about both? Green speck for front and rear three inches and bison in center 6 inches. Never seen that done (at least with two different materials). The leather would catch most of the wear and the linen would stay a little cleaner.

Or...put it up for sale with those two choices (or any other for that matter) and let the buyer decide. A buyer might change it as soon as he gets it anyway. I did once, bought a Curly Maple cue with Purple Heart points and butt sleeve that had green speck on it. Had the maker put on a brandy colord lizard wrap and it looks 100% better.

Just looked at the 'Fedunka' post...similar colors and I love the Linen.
