what is this used for?
It can be mixed in epoxy to add weight.

That would be cheating:thumbup:
i need two ounces for your shaftTo make 4oz shafts!
it would seem to take a lot of "enhanced" epoxy to make any difference
You'd be surprised. Powdered tungsten is HEAVY. Mix it thick with epoxy to form a paste & push it into a hole to bottom it. It'll stick to the wood very well, unlike a weight bolt that might buzz when it loosens up. No worries of trying to thread a deep hole, either. You can use it to adjust balance anywhere in the cue. Behind joint pin, in the "A" joint, in the handle from back, wherever. Cool stuff. Doesn't take much.

Eric,
THANKS for the explanation! It's a rare day that I don't learn something from someone here.
Maybe the buyer will divvy it up into smaller quantities and resell it here to the rest of us.
Glad your feeling better - Just take it slow!
Gary
I'm suprised that nobody uses depleted uranium powder. That might make a cue hit a mega-ton
Dave
I would think this would deaden the tone in the cue.....
i'll take it. Pm sent.
