black boar on ebay

Something is very odd. I haven't seen a BB (any BB) offered for under $2K and this one supposedly has a pedigree. Yet with 2 days left there have been only 2 bids and the bid right now stands at $20? Why hasn't someone already scooped it up at the BIN price?

Perhaps that's why he posted this listing, because he was thinking of bidding on it but it smelled funny so he was inquiring.

This cues been posted about 40 times in the last week. It started out in Europe, then CA, now, MA. Surely a scammer.

I bid the 20 just cause of the instructions to email first and see if it was really cancelled. I don't know whether to believe it or not, but for 20 I will take a chance.

This seems way strange to me. At only $1800, I cannot believe it has not been bought yet. Three days is plenty of time for someone to scoop that up. This one is strange.

And in the one picture that some type mark is visible on the buttcap(from a considerable distance) you cannot tell what the mark is. But, even as far away as it is, it does not look like any Black Boar mark that I have seen.

I sent a message to the seller that i will buy it now for $1,800.00.
If they say o.k. i live in MD. and will only pay in person.

Could Ebay make in ANY harbor to report a suspect hijacked account these days?!

I guess I could just be retarded..

This is a scam. The person who actually had this cue listed for sale, sold it for like 5000-6000. This person will list about 10 auctions at a time listing the same cue. I have reported them as bogus but they keep posting more. No one need contacting the seller. It IS a scam.

The cue is real...

Of course the auction is a scam...its been listed several times already. I used to own a BB that looked just like this one...I still have the joint protectors...but sold the cue years ago.
