Guerra Cues

I build one cue at a time

Hey folks,

Here are 3 new cues I completed for the West Coast Cue Show.
Poolhustler (Russ), Cyrex (Rex) and Dj Keys (David) among other unknown people for AZ'ers tried the cues and I was thrilled with their feedback.

The african blackwood and bacote is sold and the other 2 cocobolo cues are available.

Cocobolo and long bem handle and butt (one piece), with brass rings and cocobolo/maple stitched rings

This cocobolo and bem handle cue was from a piece of coco that I got from Kenny Koo that was super old and super dense and heavy. An awesome playing cue.

Finally this bacote and african blackwood cue. I just love this combination! I am working on a stripped ebony and bacote (similar combination, slightly different ringwork...

Hi,

Great job Tony, I wish I could come to the show.

Maybe next year.

The only problem you have now is not selling those beauties before the show.

Come to think of it, that would not be a problem. Make them wait until the show is over!!!!

Your cues are making a statement for great styling.

Keep up the great work,

Rick

Thanks for the nice comments and thanks for the nice chat Dean. I am sorry I was unable to make it to your place when I went to Dallas but the weather was the worst in years as you know.
To me the big thrill was to see some of my friends at the cue show trying out my cues and the feedback I got.
Now I need to keep building what I like and soon I should be able to show off some CNC work as well.
I had some help from great people in my learning process and all the cues posted here was all me from tapering to finish and anybody that thinks something else have an open invitation to come to my shop.

Thanks Tony for supporting the show again and it was GREAT having you there this time with YOUR work.

Honestly, the cues were great! Your wood choices are sick and I'm really glad you're focusing on how they play.. not just to make a pretty cue. You just keep making cues your way and you're going to be successful once the word gets out!

Rex,

I will do anything for you guys. On the next show I will offer one of my cues for raffle or silent auction in order to help you guys with the expenses of future shows.

Good seeing you again Tony. Thanks for letting me spin the wheels on one of your new cues!! Although the shaft was way different from what I am used to, overall the cue hit great. Nice solid crisp hit. Very nice!!

Keep up the great work bro :)

Thanks Russ. That means a lot coming from you. You are an awesome player!!! Nice seeing your family.
I started tapering some nice stripped ebony I had hanging for a while.

Nice

I saw these cues at the show and was very empressed. They looked beautiful and the finish was like glass. Very well constructed. If I didn't know better I would have thought the cuemaker had years of experience under his belt. It won't take long for Guerra cues to be a well known name in the pool world. I may be forced to handle a few myself, you never know? Thank you for sharing my friend.

Great Cues

Tony-

Great to see you at the show! I was very impressed with this first batch of cues, it is easy to see how they sold so quickly. The one I tried hit great, and the wood combos are really nice. Keep up the great work!

Nice seeing you again Tomie!! Better grab up some of Tony's cues now before he starts selling them for what they are really worth!!

DJ - Nice meeting you also, although breifly.

Unfortunately I had to leave early Sunday AM and couldn't finish the tournament. I had plans to take out Rafa :D

Rafael has his moments as well like anybody else. I am sure you would have done great!
