What is your pool nickname, and how did you come by the nickname?

My nickname was easy money.How i acquired that name im not for sure but i always had action till my pockets where empty.
 
Pool Nickname

I'm old and have a white beard.
I'm not easy (but can be had!).

They call me, "Santa Claus"...(but not because I'm generous at the pool table)!

Nickname

I got mine by the tournament director and publisher of the Indianapolis Billiard News when I beat Brian Groce in the finals of a monthly tournament in Indianapolis back in '96. He gave me the nickname of 'Snapshot' because of the way I break.

I don't recall it, but after living in 10 countries you lose track of stuff. Someone asked me the other night where I was and had to stop and think about it. It's all a blur at this point.

I play too aggresively, too often. More often the zero, than hero.

The nickname fits me just about right.

Popeye was a nickname I got when I was playing in my late teens. I tended to and still do move the cue ball around the table way too much. Had a great stroke back then and often would hear people say "look at the spin he got on that ball". Spinage lead to Spinach, which then lead to Popeye.

I had to come up with a nickname before my first trickshot tournament. Bruce Barthelette and I came up with Sharpshooter at dinner the night before. I came in 12th that tournament. 2 years later I won the world championship.
 
I never had one until recently someone at the Illinois Billiard Club called me "araña" (Spanish for spider). It was to describe my bridge hand when I switch to the open bridge because it looks like a spider and sometimes I move my middle finger a bit to get comfortable. I kind of like it, mainly because the more you hear it, the more it sticks!

PoolShark. I usually get this anywhere I end up. Never self applied, just seems to happen. I guess I have a very unassuming look and nature until we are on the table. Plus, I can make damned near any shot on the table.
 
Pool Nickname

Sippy Cup....actually because I cheated at beer pong, sort of....pretended to drop a ball on the ground so I could cleverly dump out the cheap beer as I went to pick it up but someone caught me.....

Sippy Cup has been on our league score sheet ever since so that's me! I'm also now notorious for the "sippy cup" rack which I will neither confirm nor deny that I actually have anything to do with when racking balls....
 
I got my nickname "Glamour Dave" because when i'm not making glamourous shots of the world's most beautiful women, I can be found making glamourous shots at the pool table. :)
