Monte, what a nice cue. I think you got me hooked on wanting a Tascarella. Oh by the way, after talking to you a nicer guy couldn't have got this one. Enjoy!

Unless I read it wrong, the Monte has 3 shafts with this cue. So, taking one down to his preference by a local guy like Ed or Ernie wouldn't be so bad seeing that he would still have 2 std size shafts. If all 3 he has are really nice, personally, I would have another made to my preference and never look back.
Congrats on the nice cue Monte. I almost bought when I first saw it!!
Russ.....
I feel the same way you do Matt. I really like the feel of the linen wrap. My preference looks wise is wrapless. I sweat a little too much for that though.I can't really tell for sure by the pictures but the wrap looks like it's Cortland Linen which is what George Balabushka and other reknown cue-makers of that era used. The white with green specks is what leads me to believe it's Cortland Linen which is the best linen wrap you can get.
Personally speaking, I dislike leather wraps to actually play with but they do look nice. Regardless, all of my cues have Irish Linen wraps and that's all I look for when buying a cue.....leather doesn't interest me in the slightest, aside from being the only type of cue case I'd ever own.

Congrats !! All of Pete's cues I've ever had played great.....and his 3/8-10 flat face are exceptional hitters.....imo of course.
