Who is the overall better player?
This seems to me to be a fairly accurate appraisal of their speed as players, Hopkins was also a better 10 ball player than Rempe...but not by much.Straight pool was just about even, but if either had a slight edge, it was Allen.
Rempe was, in my view, stronger at nine ball than Allen.
Hopkins was much stronger at one pocket and other moves-oriented games.
Hopkins was, I believe, the better gambler of the two.
Overall, not much to choose between these two living legends, so I have abstained in this vote.
