Gus

Just leave us alone for a few racks. The cue ball, the Gus and I all need to have a talk about pocketing a few balls.

Another amazing cue. Please keep posting them. Thanks.

Amazing to think he did this 30 years ago or longer.
Half the CMs today with all the knowledge there is out there can't match this type of :thumbup2:work.

This is my all time favorite Gus from top to bottom.
Absolutely stunning
Jeff

Not trying to bash the work of others who were making cues in the same time period as Gus, but when you look at this cue, you can easily see why his cues stand apart from virtually all others of his time, and it would stand apart from most even today. The precision and execution of the inlays looks to be light years beyond most of his contemporaries. Truly a great cue, and also one of my favorite Gus' to date. Thanks for sharing.

One of my favorites from your collection. I truly appreciate you letting me take this cue for a spin.

Thanks for sharing,
Chris

Perhaps the greatest of all time!

This cue may be the greatest, if not on the top three of the greatest Hoppe style cues of ALL TIME...
My personal favorite Szamboti of all time, thank you sir for posting it again.

This is a great cue, plays great and is in the hands of a great guy....

JV

Absolutely agree with you 100% JV. I have never seen this cue in person or played with it, but it is some of the best craftsmanship bar none that I have ever seen in a Gus cue. Its not over the top but it really has that classic wow factor to it. This cue pic should be bumped up once a month just to share its beauty with everyone. Steve this cue is absolutely stunning in every way from top to bottom. You sir have a piece of history in this cue & I`m glad you shared the pics with all of us azers. Take care
Jeff
