no doubt .. I see a lot of surveillance video in the course of my job and this is some of the clearest I've ever seen. Especially from inside a bar
I wish I would run into this cowardly POS, so I could introduce him to my fist, boot, and elbow.

It is really a shame someone with PHOTO SHOP SKILL, can not get a better IMAGE of this SUSPECT.
Were is the FBI BAU when you need em. Like they do on TV.
Even with better photos the story of the murder didn't get much press. The photos available are probably good enough for someone to recognize the suspect. If AMW had run the story this guy would probably be behind bars already.
I was watching a History Channel special about the shroud of Turin. If they can make 3D images from a cloth, there's no doubt they could get a better pic of this guy. Somehow you still have to get the image out there for everyone to see.

You are correct about this having gone on so long unsolved. I wish AMW would pick it up and bring this guy to justice! With photos like that how can they not pick it up and help solve this murder! My condolences go out to the family and friends. I hope they catch this guy real soon!

the dangers of photoshop
I haven't worked with photoshop in some years now but I once used it to correct, enhance, and restore photographs. The danger is that it is very easy to cross over the line from making what is there clearer to creating what you think is there, or what you think was once there, or what you think should be there.
I worked with this image in photoshop and basically got what others already have. Enhancing beyond that point will require a little creativity on the part of the person doing the photoshop or using a repetitive process that forces photoshop to create a substantial percentage of the image itself. What will result is a technically better image, but very posssibly a less accurate representation of the subject. Very easy to start a wild goose chase after somebody that doesn't exist while protecting the real person. Reminds me of a friend whose face and head was badly damaged in a wreck. The folks at the funeral home put together a quite acceptable looking person out of what they had to work with helped by photographs and wax but the result had little resemblence to Billy.

I am dumbfounded that they have not found this guy yet.
He may be in jail somewhere else.
There are 1000's of murderers who remain at large, despite long term efforts to find, try, and convict them. The reasons why could fill a book.

when you see this guy shoot pool. he isnt great but he gets down low on the shots. most bar players do not. so it stand to reason he has spent a lot of time in a pool room somewhere in the past. and of course by his actions is familiar with them and at ease.
so pictures of him to various pool places likely would jog the memory of someone from the past that knew his name and something about him.

possibly put pics up of him at major events, starting with the us bar box championships, and other major amateur events
