This is Phil's latest commissioned piece-War Crow. This case epitomizes the concept we had for a Quiverz Cue Case when I first pitched this idea to Phil some twenty years ago. I came across my first Custom Hand Tooled Case when I used to play at JOB in Madison,TN outside Nashville and a very good friend of ours paid $700 for a standing 2x4 that had a blue(ish) stain and was tooled with traditional western stamping. She was a chain smoking, working class Grandmother who must have sacrificed to buy it, but she was so proud of it. Ironically the first prototype of a Quiver style case was a native War Chief and fast forward 20 years-its still not finished, but Phil still has it. Life happened and Phils a Grampa now and maybe someday it may actually be completed. There are no words I can present to you that will do it justice. It's hinged hood features of course, a War Chief with full head dress and braids, a beaded back, custom composite shoulder strap and vinyl mesh reinforced-fleece lined tubes and the first piece with extensive leather paint to embody the full Native American essence. Enjoy!
