Cue makers by State

Omen- Pete Ohman- is also FL...Fred.

Let's not forget the Predator company (Are they still considered Clawson Cues?).

And the late great Abe Rich was from Miami Beach.

And then there's Barringer...

Freddie <~~~ hasn't bought a cue while in Florida yet...

Kalifornia

I think you'd have to reconsider this when the other coast has Ernie & Tad among the other 30-40 cue builders.

Freddie

And I do believe that Ed Prewit should be now included with the TAD & Ernie mix to head-up the long CA list. AC may want to be up there also.

I would gauge the quality of both of these sources by the fact that the first list fails to mention me OR Mike Bender (Both in Alaska), and the second list (for Alaska) has only some repair guy I never even heard of.

You're not mentioned so the site sucks large? Well La Dee F/N da.

Its up to the cue makers to register themselves on the site.

And don't worry Sir Thomas, the repair man from Alaska probably hasn't heard of you either.

The world doesn't have enuff rose petals to drop at your feet. Sorry.

That does seem very strange. And the sites are lacking, but they're surely a better start then listing them off here.

During RSB, we had that cuemaker list thread. Didn't we all quit after 500 or so? Every whittler's wet dream was a cue, apparently.

Freddie <~~~ and then there was Thomas Wayne's story of the whittled cue

I will take Maryland.

I am not saying those other cuemakers aren't great, but Lambos and Scruggs are my two favorite and the only time I hit a Black Boar, I was shocked at how great it felt. And Bob Frey is fantastic as well. Maryland is pretty tough to beat.

Re-check the Florida list.

Its pretty safe to say that Florida > Maryland in the cuemaker battle.

Tucker
Searing
Manzino
Mobley
Showman
Harris
Ohman
Dayton
Nitti
Richards
Perry
Breakpoint

And I'm sure I left out a SLEW of others.

A couple local cue makers, that do excellent repair work;:D

in St.Petersburg FL; Frank Jacono aka Frankie Doodle

in Tampa; Wayne Ball at Robertsons Billiard supply

Mike Sigel use to make cues out of Orlando, not sure whatever happened with that?

Tampa used to have:
Rocky Tillis
Wayne Gunn
Larry "LaRue" Haymes
Ricco Cervantes
and we had Jay Flowers (case maker), not a cue maker, but was working on a prototype jump cue in the early 80's
Buddy Hall lives in Tampa now, he had a line of Bloodworth cues some years ago.
"Kreole" Freddie Yates also lives in Tampa now, he made some beautiful cues, I have seen them.

here is link to a great site;
