But I couldn't wait to post this thread!
I just took delivery of a brand new Barry
4pt ebony Hoppe with an elephant wrap.
I'll take pictures when I get home from work...
Again sorry for the tease, but it's coming tonight!!!

OK, 4-point ebony Hoppe cue with a black elephant ear wrap, by Barry Szamboti.
Give me the veneer colors, number of shafts, the basic ringwork, and I may be able to
get a visual image that is somewhat close to the actual cue.

I do apologize for the quality of the pictures.
However, I consider myself a much better
pool player than photographer. I might have
to take a photography class someday, and I
know everyone always says it, and in this
case it's true. The photos really don't do the
cue any justice. It's nothing over the top
fancy, but to me, it is the best. I do enjoy
cues that are loaded with ivory inlays and
such (see previous thread on "I Love S's"
to see what I mean. But for a player's cue,
I feel this cue is perfect. Blk, Wh, Blk, Wh
veneers w/ebony points into what Barry
refers to as a Tiger Maple forearm, nickel
trim rings, ss joint, elephant wrap (love it),
ebony buttsleeve with my all-time favorite,
the ivory Hoppe ring with Szamboti etched
into the ring. For me, it doesn't get any better
than this. My thanks go out to Mr. Szamboti
for building such a beautiful cue, that is the
perfect weight for me, and it hits just like I
want it to. Enjoy the not-so-good photos guys...


must be woking overtime, to pay for it, eh?

But no, I paid cash. No financing necessary!
