A Plea to Mike Howerton...

But as long as were communicating I would like to say something positive by saying nice job on the Alex vs. Shane race to 100 match I've watched it 11 times now and will probably watch it again. Nice work Fred and TAR!

I think this should have its own sub-forum. I am both stunned and embarrassed when someone quotes something from that match that I said. Sometimes, it's nothing but verbal diarrhea

From the bottom of my heart and the middle of my already over-inflated head, thank you.

TAR Baby!

You posted in my thread thanking the moderators for moving it.

You seem a little confused generally - let me clarify my real intent:

Even though I agree with Fred and Lou that it's silly to have to segregate the entire topic of aiming in a pool forum, I'm glad they did it because the topic of aiming here has become too CTE-dominated (in large part because the moderators coddle CTE proponents and legitimize their aggressor-as-victim pose). I'd rather have aiming discussion out of sight than have the whole topic allowed to become a Main Forum propaganda platform for CTE.

And for the record (and as I've said scores of times here), CTE is an OK system as far as it goes, but the coddling of its proponents here has fostered a climate of rampant hyperbola about it that can't be challenged without starting defensive wars, furthering the unwarranted "victim" status of its proponents, and risking the uneven censure of the moderators.

Unreal, you start aiming threads. When traffic dies down you mention cte because that will keep your thread going.

Is there any chance we could push for a sub-sub forum inside of the aiming sub-forum? If so, we could call that new sub-sub forum the Main Forum.

Just throwing that out there.

THANKS for giving the "AIMING" topic it's own forum, which it richly deserves

(never have so few confused so many)

Unreal, you start aiming threads.
I started a couple, neither directly about CTE, but both attacked by CTE proponents. One of them was shut down because of an immediate CTE swarm with nothing but spurious negative comments.

This isn't my thread. Try to keep up.

And just link it back to the original Main Forum, like a Klein bottle (a sort of three dimensional Mobius strip).

Cool.

The fact that you actually see nothing wrong with this statement just shows why people should add you to their ignore list.

And the fact that you gave a reason of why you will go over there but yet don't consider it trolling gives further reason.

Seek counseling.

BTW, I am done trying to save people from aiming threads.

Fred, again your outstanding logic makes me laugh - and you need to learn how to think and read. What you are saying, and I don't need a counselor to figure this out, is that anyone who is a naysayer of aiming methods and who has spoken out in good faith is a troll. I have never in the aiming threads done anything trollish, and obviously you cannot read and understand why I went over there (to save people). In good faith, what do you think is wrong with trying to "save people", periodically? Should this be censored (or ignored as you suggest) so that anybody who is new to pool and reading aiming threads doesn't have an opposite point of view?

You went to save people. Explain cte in detail and describe whats wrong with it.
Please save me.

Way to divide my comment up so you can misrepresent what I said. YOU mention CTE in YOUR threads to keep them alive. Your the culprit.

Nope. Just you.

Ray, you have zero logic.

Why you think there is anything to save people from is still astounding. And that you believe you (YOU?????? ) can save people. YOU???? Oh my lord.

Newsflash: Nobody needs saving due to aiming discussion. Get over yourself. And seriously... get help.

George Carlin should add "aiming systems" to his list:

From the mouths of babes comes the real truth sometimes.

Why don't you have AZBilliards give us all a test for pool knowledge so we can become certified to discuss aiming methods?! Why do you have to be qualified to state an opinion, or save someone? If you like to discuss how many angels can dance on the head of a needle, then go right ahead (get my point?).
