Ugliest cues

As I've mentioned before, my Z2 ferrule cracked and flew off a month or so ago. A friend I was hanging out with said I could use one of the ones he's got. After looking at a couple, I asked about this one. He said that PoS is one I gave to him when I moved from my old place - I had a table that wasn't worth playing on and the equipment to match. I figured I'd use that one. The pictures could be a little better, but this carved-wood beauty is something to behold. And, yes, I've been using it for all of my play(league, etc). The last pic isn't too good, but I've got a few tips there, a small baggy of tips and the case with duct tape on the end. The messed up part is that I kinda like the hit.

And "you like the hit".... Wow.. Hey equipment can make a difference, but you gotta know what to do with it to make it count!

That poor bull let someone get way too close to it with a knife! <--- I guess he forgot how to use his horns!

(I wonder if that "Bull's SHAFT cue" has a problem with "follow through!"):D

you know the saying " beat with the fugly stick", which in its extreme version is "fell out of the fugly tree, and hit every branch on the way down"... that must be the tree supplying the raw material for some of these cues! ;) Some aren't "falling" from it, they were MADE from it!!!:D

Pickpocket, I'm pretty sure I had the one on the left. I bought it at the Pike Place Market in Seattle and thought it was so cool, because the shaft went inside the butt (wow, that sounds bad!) and the ball screwed onto the top and the tip screwed into the bottom (this is getting worse ) and it turned into a walking stick. I just thought it was the diggety dog bomb back then, lol.

Oh Linda....Please tell me it isnt so! I can't believe you would fall for something like that.

I guess that this is as good of a time as any to let you guys know that my old nick name used to be Bull.

Actually, Linda's "walking stick" cue is on auction at eBay now:

Lol, ok I was only 19 or 20 and I was just getting into pool. Back then, there wasn't a lot to choose from either. And I sure wasn't discriminating. (It would be inappropriate to comment now about my ex-husband.) :p

"Let it flow, let yourself go. That's what you'll be saying when you pick up a Minnesota Fats lava cue. This pool cue features liquid blue lava that moves like the waves in the ocean. Combined with a "light up" feature that activates when you tap the butt onto the ground or when the cue comes in contact with the ball, this cue is definately one of the more unique pool cues on the market. "
