Where to play in Chicago???

It looks like I will be heading to Chicago to work for a couple of weeks.

I would like to play pool while I am there. I am looking for a friendly place with 5, 10 & 20 dollar action. I am no champion, I just like to play.
 
Hey Rick, You can come up to Grayslake for some friendly action at Shooters. I don't play anymore, but there are alot of cheap games. Give me a call when you get in town. -Jon

If you have transportation the best room around here these days is Red Shoes in Alsip Il..
 
Where in the Chicago area are you staying? As was already mentioned, Red Shoes is the place to go but there are several other good rooms in the Chicagoland area.

Hell I could of told you that! Hope you are enjoying the furnace like weather!! Me & the wife are getting ready to meet another AZ couple at The Bonefish Grill for some good eats and some fine wine!!
 
I was in Chicago last week hanging out with good friend and fellow AZer "T".

Went to a) Red Shoes, where I saw bank pool legend Glen "Piggy Banks" Rogers and AZB 14.1 afficianado Dennis Walsh, b) Chris' Billiards,where I saw both George Fels, Tom Karabotsos playing and c) Pressure, where I met AZB aiming guru Patrick Johnson, a super-nice guy. These would all be good choices.
 
Chicago is a big city. If you want some bar table action north of downtown, IM me.

Ike is tough action, the Chicago squeeze is alive and well...wow(good thing we're friends)
 
If you're downtown near the west loop, City Pool Hall on Hubbard is a nice place to play on big tables.
