Also laughing at all those who said Landon had no chance. He opened some eyes for sure last night. Congrats to Landon and Stan as well.
 
Yeah, people were tripping over themselves to bet on Earl over Landon. Now that people got a peek I wonder if they'll think he has a chance next time ;)

Charles Bryant....George Fels called the moniker 'Hillbilly' a misnomer...
..he is quite sophisticated, especially at pool.
And his break is right up there with Shane's.....

He was on my live stream all 16 days at the 2012 Canadian Championships and your right PT the man is a thinker and just a overall great guy
 
I'm not a fan of Earl but it seemed that his foot wasn't completely on the gas pedal.The kid played well though.
 
This kid is the real deal...

WOW, last night was amazing. The fact that RLS and ES were playing on 5x10 tables and how RLS was just THUMPING every shot dead center pocket, whether it was a cut, a long shot, a long cut was nothing short of amazing. He wasn't getting perfect shape on everything but his pocketing skills saved him time and time again. Scary thing about his ridiculous shot making is that he was consistent all the way through, not a lucky shot here or there...it was just over and over again, tough shot after tough shot. Relentless but amazing. Kid could've played ANYONE and demolished them. Truly an impressive eye opening performance. I hope someone posts this match on youtube....
 
the crowd doesn't seem to appreciate much what is happening on the tables... I saw some great shots but the crowd didn't react at all. Maybe I'm wrong. Seems like it is reacting only on bank shots or crazy shots so it leads me to think it is not very knowledgeable.
 
I wasn't surprised to see Landon play extremely well, but I was shocked at how poorly Earl played. Something was definitely wrong with that performance ... for whatever reason.
 
Slh...You're in Italy, and have never been to the DCC. I can tell you from experience that the crowd that comes to these events are VERY knowledgeable...whether they applaud or not.

I watched the match again and at the beginning for sure Earl missed shots,kicked poorly and left lots of open shots.I would agree that something was off.
