Island Drive, I respect your opinion, and I assure you, although it's a sexy calendar, it is nowhere near a Playboy, a Maxim, or even a Sports Illustrated kind of sexy. It is VERY classy, and the girls are very respectable and not being degraded in any way.
I am a designer, with 20 years of art experience, and I do a lot for the billiards community in terms of design. This is my first photography project, and so far it's going very well.
I'm not assuming this will be displayed in your kids' bedroom, it is intended for a slightly more adult audience, but it has no "adult" content. This IS art, because by definition, art is defined by its creator (this is the widely accepted definition of art for over 100 years now).
I understand your position against selling "sex", so I would suggest simply not buying it. Your suggestion of doing photos of shooting is noted, but you can find those photos anywhere and everywhere, including magazines, and zillions on Google search.
These are intended to entertain, and there will be select pieces for sale individually on canvas, signed personally by myself. If you'd like to see a few other pics of the series to come, "like" my page at:

Island Drive, I can think of nothing more done in art than the female form. I would consider photography art . This might not suite your taste or moral standard but it's still art. I'm sure there are many other artist and mediums out there you may find equallly distasteful. I may or may not agree with you but I do think it is very poor form to come into the OP's thread and vent your moral standard . If you would like a male calander by all means have one made up . Maybe your daughters would buy a copy.

The one great thing about AZ, you soon realize your in a pool room and it never lets ya down. Those of you that see merit and a good reason to portray our game in this manner, then none of you should ever complain that our game doesn't get the respect and recognition it deserves, how can this help, let me know. There are places to sell sex, is this where you all prefer it to happen? I vote no....I would be surprised how many on here would be willing to pay?...................How much did you say the calender was?

I didn't say how much it was, because I have not yet finished pre-production and shooting. My goal is to keep it as low as possible. $20-$25 most likely.
I understand that you think it hurts the game, but I don't see how. If you ask me, it makes me wanna get on the table and play. The photos promote the sport, not demote. I am making an association between class and billiards. To try and convince you otherwise, I will send you the finished 12 model spreads (which are not including the ones shown) for FREE in a high resolution format for you to use as wallpaper or to print yourself. Sound good? I think you would appreciate it that way. Shoot me your email and you'll get them when all post-production is complete.
