Beware azers of this guy Brian kozy screen name mzbhavnhrl he CAN NOT BE TRUSTED HE IS A THEIF I sent him money for a cue he had for sale he said send me tracking number of money order and I'll ship your cue and I did this but he did not ship the cue I paid for and took me 3 days just to get home to return a txt bc I kept asking for the tracking number of the cue well he said he lossed it????? Anyways he took my money and I have NOTHING he won't return money after asking more than once so lesson learned just beware of this guy hes out to steal your money and give you nothing in return but the run around

He tried to get me to trade 2 of my players cues and a pechauer for one of his 'customs' Which looked like a cue makers mistakes. I didnt like the way he talked towards me disrespectful and extremely pushy, chnged his mind on the deal more then several times even though I told him no every time.
 
You have his address. Call the local cops. I've done this before and you would be amazed how fast you get your stuff when the popo comes knocking. Mail fraud will send him to jail

I hope you paid with a USPS money order

If you did contact the postmaster and give him or her your contact information. They will have him arrested if he chooses to not return your money or complete your transaction in usually 5 days.
It is a federel offense. Mail fraud

This guy is a "mess" and should not be trusted. Seems like he uses several AZ handles on the forum to lure in his victims...sorry to hear about your unfortunate dupe. Nick's right...contact the US Post Office and the local police in that guy's area and explain what went down.
 
It's kind of weird this guy has all these bad deals and only 1 negative I Trader and he is still green. Sorry you guys got taken. Hope everything works out.

I gave the guy a negative, but it was under a different alias.
We're dealing with criminal here, and he has 3-aliases that I know of.
The stuff he has successfully sold as mzbhavnhrl is probably stolen.

In the old days we used to do business face-to face. We would see what we were buying, knew a little bit about who we were buying from, and checks and cash were a fine method of payment.

Things have changed considerably, now we buy things we can't see from people we don't know. Luckily for us, there are modern payment methods that have evolved to allow us to do business with the same safety as face-to-face (actually more as we live in a far more consumer-oriented society as far as safety goes).

Sorry you had to learn the hard way, but doing modern business with a guy you don't know for a product you can't see, using an outmoded method of payment is just asking for trouble.

"Outting" this guy offers no protection, as the posters have shown, scammers can just change handles and start all over again.

On some other forums I belong to we like to send members to have a little "talk" with said bad guy. Problems have been solved :bash:

I don't think theft is any more prevalent than it ever was. I think internet theft has grown, as has use of the internet. Buying over the internet using methods of payment designed for face-to-face transactions just doesn't work.

Pay with a check and get stiffed, here you are, back in the forum saying how bad thieves are and how someone ought to go beat them up.

Pay with a credit card and get stiffed, dispute the payment with your credit card company and go about your day.

The choice seems simple to me.

Indeed. At least some of the payment companies out there had the common courtesy to offer an avenue of recourse, should things go sideways.

The only folks I'll send a check or Money Order to are ones that have proven...time and again...that they can be trusted.

I know theft has been around since the beginning of time...and will continue to occur. What I meant was that it seems to be getting more and more 'common' here on AZB. When I first joined up, there were MAYBE a few bad incidents per year. Now it seems like there's at least one per month. Regardless of the numbers, it's sad.
