Hi,

Beer and Brat Open House Party in the Esoteric Cue Shop for our AZer friends and Cue Makers.

I am opening up my shop on Saturday 10-06-12 after the show during the weekend of Windy City Cue Show. My shop is only 20 minutes from the Pyramid Club just north on 53 in Palatine , Il.

I will supply the food but for liability reasons please bring your own alcohol. I am not a cheap ass but if I supply the booze, I become the target of any law suits if something happens!!!!!!!

If you are coming please let me know in advance so I can plan on how much food to buy for the grill.

There is a school parking lot right across the street for parking your cars.

Hope to see you there,

Rick

BTW, If you have any shaft squares or 1.5" X 1.5" wood squares, bring them and we can load them through the doweling machine and save you some time and router wear.

Make sure you un-plug every machine so the follow up post doesn't read, I'M BEING SUED, because someone touched something they shouldn't have.

I've had people do some pretty stupid things in the past, Now if they get off the stool, they're out.

Open House

Very nice gesture Rick. Make sure you count the silver ware after the cuemakers leave.

Wish I was closer too Rick.
Sounds like a fun day you have planned. Hope you get a large turn out.

Nothing better than cold beer, brats and potato chips.

Hey Steve,

I don't drink so I will be a good chaperone! If anyone can't drive they can stay overnight, no problem. LOL

I figure if you get a few CMs together in a shop environment, we all may learn a thing or two just shooting the shit.

I'm planning on making it to the show, so you and I have to meet. We can exchange numbers or something when the show gets closer. I enjoyed meeting several of my fellow AZ'ers last time this show was on, so I'm really looking forward to meeting more! See you fellas in October!

Good luck with the SHOWING. )

Sounds like a great offering - ( just to see some shop tools, jigs , whether cnc- and for me the wood Pile collection!!!!!! I have travelled learning about special trees, cutting cookies off 150 venner quality logs,(at 1 cutting). 2 weeks lather 150 more where cutt and auctioned. and of course plenty of BEM trees. Its hard to learn all the grading ways - its not all in the bks( for sure takes yrs from the wood guys who use calutaers to count cash. All they know is WOOD> I posted this before Birdseye-connection This guy buys logs at (Places , Auctions. His shop is on an MIT- FORD owned Sawmill from 1920 or something. Someday, I can't say, but - If the opportunity is afforded, I usually call before, I ring the door bell. Sounds like a great OPPORTUNITY to show the locals etc that your in town - Making a Far Superior Product Hand Crafted Locally. thanks mark.

Hi,

Tony Guerra is coming from California and will be cooking up a pork roast recipe marinated in wine and herbs for grommet sandwiches on sourdough rolls.
